Character becoming bald after saving-reloading

So I encountered a rather funny bug that I actually haven't ever had before. I located an old save I had of a different character (Ningheim) and decided to try loading it. Upon loading I noticed that my char had become bald, I figured it was simply because I had updated/changed my hair pack since then. I opened the character creation menu, chose a new hair, immediately saved and then reloaded. Lo and behold, my character's hair had once again disappeared. I tried this a few times in different interiors, tried using the save console command, yet my character seems to suffer from an odd case of hair loss. Has anyone had this issue before and managed to figure out what caused it?

I have ECE installed but didn't use it for that character (it's a Ningheim, so no default support), I'm also using Racemenu, other than that I'm not using any character creation mods (I've disabled the Race modifications for SkyRe). Might be a load order problem with Ningheim/ECE, but since both are recognized by BOSS it seems unlikely.

 

Gonna have a look around and see what I can do but figured I may as well ask here in the meanwhile.

You should use only one, "USKP Patcher for RaceCompatibility.esp" is an older version of the one above it.

Also, just for the info, CharGen extension on nexus now supports ECE sliders(you don't need ECE/CME anymore), and it's able to add those sliders to Ningheims(see optionals).

Oh snap, didn't notice that RaceCompatibility-thing. That did indeed fix the problem, thank you very much !

 

Didn't know about Chargen Extension either, thank you for letting me know! Will switch to that sometime, but changing will probably mess up my other character's face, so it will have to wait until I've finished that one.

 

I haven't really been keeping track of recent developments in modding, thinking of getting back into Skyrim once I install my new Graphics Card , I see I've got some reading-up to do!
