Is there any way to match FO4 head and body textures for FG or CBBE?

I've tried countless mods and configurations, but always end up with a mismatch at the neck. Some are more subtle than others, but it's always still there. Has anyone actually found a way to do this effectively?

If you are using the same resolution for both the head and body textures there should not be problems, note the word should, we all know what modding can be like.  But check to make sure you are using the same resolution, if you are for example using 2k face textures, then you must use 2k body textures, or at least that is what has been stated in various guides doing bug solving for dealing with this problem, though it may also be worth while checking if the body textures you want at a specific resolution, suggest a face texture to go with it, as well as what resolution they tell you to use, and of course do not mix and match fg and cbbe textures, use only fg or cbbe, depending on which body you are using.

Vanilla seam can not be hidden. The lighting changes and the seam will still come out periodically. I have given up on any garment that does not hide the seam. The vanilla head turned out to be completely incompatible with the new cbbe, fg, etc. bodies. The head looks like a sleeve sewn to the cunt and this cannot be fixed with funny makeup. There are two obstacles on the way to a new head. 1. You can not remake the head separately. We'll have to redo the head and body together and make a new overall uv. 2. You will have to make several dozen goals with the mfg system (emotions). These are the two main difficulties that discourage the desire to mess with the head. As an option... Increase the number of body polygons in the seam area as much as possible. Make a seam not vertix to vertex, but overlap and then you can somehow mask it with textures.

Thanks for all the replies, I ended up using this for both the body and head:

It's not perfect, but it's the best I could find at this point. I'm not about to start messing with meshes, as I know how much work that would be. Just want to have a fun play through :)

Yes, it's best when there is a ready-made version ... Until this option once again gouges out your eyes. )
