poopy69poopy Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) On my last mod set up I downloaded a lot a presets, and a lot of requirements for presets. The end result felt like none of them looked the way they should. So if I already have a bunch of make up, eye, brow, ect. mods on my current set up. Is it better to treat many preset requirements as soft, even if not labeled that way by author, and just see if the presets work with what i have? Worse case i load a preset and my game crashes, so oh I can't use that preset right? Or am I thinking about it wrong? How do you guys make a load order with many presets work? If you check a preset in Racemenu you see what is missing in red. Most of that can be ignored, because you can change hair/eyes/brows/overlays anyways. Everything else won't crash your game but will look incredible ugly. What is important tho: if the preset is for a certain skyrim race it will look bad on anything else, like a nord preset on a dark elf and the other way around. You can see in racemenu what race the preset was made for. If the sculpt of the head was changed for citrus head or high poly head or botox or <any other sculpt mesh modifying mod here> and you don't have one of those installed you still won't crash with a preset that was made for those, but again you get a very ugly outcome.

Right on. Cause I got a relatively light set up right now, and it looks way better than when I had a million different mods effecting facial features.

First of all, the requirements , Then you have to consider what requirement it takes . Their loading aorder will become irrelevant , it will depend on what you have overwritten . Also consider a possible ENB , which , imfluence considerably on the final appearance , changing the graphics Spoiler My preset Isis without ENB and with ENB Example , if you use an ECE preset , and you have Racemenu installed , they will conflict If you have a preset in HPH (High Poly Head ) and , you are using ECE , it won't fit . HPH , requires Racemenu but , Racemenu , conflicts with ECE
