Sim resets itself while picking up a plate to clean it

I have tested all my other mods and wickedwhims is the only one that breaks this interaction. I click on a plate to clean it, the sims picks it up, takes a step back and resets, the plate goes back to the ground. I'm a bit at a loss for a solution.

Have you tested the game with only WickedWhims installed to confirm that it is indeed WickedWhims causing the issue by itself?

Look all around the environment. I had this happen before and it turned out that there was a dirty plate in an area (on a shelf for example) that the sim cannot reach. Not sure how it got there in the first place, but once I found it, dragged it to the trash, it worked itself out.
