Eye liner

Hi All.

I've installed and uninstalled a lot of face mods, and somehow, my character has developed permanent eye liner which I can't seem to get rid of. It's bigger than the basic eyeliner slider (it covers the eyelid too) so that slider doesn't work.

I'm guessing a mod which I deleted put this in, but I don't know which one. Can anyone tell me the mods that might do that or which texture file controls the eyeliner area? I'd like to delete it without affecting the rest of my character's face, which I'm otherwise happy with.

Thanks in advance!

Eyeliners are stored in the following folder: Data/Textures/Actors/Character/Character Assets/Tintmasks/ and have eyeliner in the names (should only be a few). Mods that can overwrite these are custom races (that do not have their own custom body/textures), body texture sets, face texture sets, face gen mods (ECE etc), or any makeup mod. If you are using a custom race with its own textures then reinstall it otherwise try reinstalling any of the previously mentioned mods (start with makeup mods first). If the makeup mods does not work I would try any face gen mods like ECE or racemenu if you have them installed.

Thanks! If I delete the eyeliner file, will that revert things to normal? I've lost track of what mods I previously installed then removed.

Yes, cause Skyrim stores everything in it's BSA, from what I figured out (correct me if I am wrong guys) is that Skyrim basicly checks the folders first then if nothing there calls from the BSA. Yes I know there is more to it thats just a simplified way of saying it. But the gold rule is make a backup before doing anything like that cause it might make it worse.
