l4ubhs5mvv5o Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Is there a particular adjustment that makes animations twitchy from the hips down? I've cleaned out all sliders from my mod folder thinking it might be a hip slider or other. This only happens on custom downloaded sims. I created a new sim from scratch and this didn't happen so it's gotta be some kind of body mod that's causing it.
Crashdown117 Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Well, that lower body sure doesn't look like the default one to me, so the first thing I'd try is changing it via Body Selector (click on your Sim > Wicked > Personalization > Anatomy & Clothing). However, I've also had some weird animation bugs caused by e.g. custom hairstyles (usually causing an arm to be stuck partially "inside" the Sim's body or something like that), so you may need to try other body parts or CAS items in order to find the culprit. I guess the quickest way would be to set one body part after another to WW defaults in Body Selector and if that doesn't do the trick at some point, continue to remove any CC items in CAS, also one by one. Once you've found the culprit, you can then try to add back all the other stuff you removed / change unproblematic Body Selector options back to the way they were.
l4ubhs5mvv5o Posted June 22, 2023 Author Posted June 22, 2023 Thanks for the tips. I haven't had a lot of time to experiment with this in the past few days but just tried changing lower body to maxis default on a couple of sims that are exhibiting this jerky lower body animations but that didn't make a difference. Went into CAS on one of the sims exhibiting this behavior (i have a few hundred i've downloaded from various sources and this seems to happen on quite a few but only on WW animations) and started stripping her down and think there may still be a slider involved that I didn't find on my first pass of cleaning them out of my mods folder...
