Hello there.

 

Is it possible to remove the locking effect from a DD using CK ? I know how to make them armored for example but I dont get how to remove the locking effect. I want to use some hobbledresses for cosmetic/clothing purposes.

If you're not going to remove it often, you could just manipulate the locks.  Otherwise, you could copy the "rendered" part and make it a regular dress:

 

Under Armor in the CK, filter by HobbleDress.  The ones you're interested in have no names, but the ID tells you what they are (e.g., zadx_HobbleDressRedOpenRelaxedRendered).

 

Make a copy by changing the ID of the one you want and saying yes to creating a new form (otherwise, you'll mess up DD).

 

Edit your copy.  Give it a name.  Ideally, you should remove all DD keywords (starting with zad_) from your new dress (so you don't confuse DD or any mod that checks whether you're wearing a real hobble dress), but that will cause the slow down effect to not work (maybe you don't want to walk slower).  If you remove the keywords, also remove the enchantment.

I use LE and sadly my first attempt failed. It appeared in my inventory but not on my character.

Challenge accepted.  Here is a working example.  I removed the DD keywords and enchantment.  The dress is named "Demo - Red Leather Hobble Dress (Open)".

This did the trick. The only thing I did different now is adding the keywords armor clothing and clothing body like in your example. Thanks alot for the help.
