Guest wellbredbitch
i load a save and after two minutes of stable game play , sections of the scenery start to flash brighter then darker. then the sky goes white and yellow and the colours seem to affect the fences and doors turning them blue. then various structures around me start refracting colour spikes. like weird crystals in all directions. this gets worse and worse untill i can't tell up from down. i quit the game and start it again. load the save and after a few minutes the same thing happens. here is a screen shot a few seconds after it has started. my load order is Skyrim esm update esm dawnguard esm dragonborn esm hearthfires esm climates of tamriel esm apachii hair esm r18pn inner wear set esp neo's kitten esp ski ui esp race menu esp race menu plugin esp climates of tamriel dungeon esp cot interior esp cot nights esp cot dawnguard esp cot dragonborn esp enhanced blood main esp enhanced blood dragonborn - dawnguard esp unofficial hearthfire patch esp unofficial dawnguard patch esp unofficial skyrim patch esp unofficial dragoborn patch esp climates of tamriel sound esp i also have installed xpms 32 dream girl sg renewal textures neovinci's female textures for dream girl hello santa's original pubic hair texture this is a very recent development. i swapped to dreamgirl from 7B bombshell. Ark of Truth
It looks like a graphics issue as if your graphics card was about to die. What happens when you disable all mods except the official DLC, does it still happen? Link to comment

Shocky
^ What Ark of Truth said, happened to me, then my graphic card died, but not in all cases, did you tried to play other games to see if they have the same issue? Link to comment
CGi
Agreed. Very likely an hardware based problem.Check if your graphic card is not overheating, remove any overclocking (if applied), lower the clockspeeds just for testing, check your system memory for errors and make sure the installation isn't damaged in any way (like bad sectors on the install HD), as corrupted meshes and/or textures can lead to a similar oddity. Veladarius
Turn off the MSAA Anti-Aliasing. Mine did something similar and went away after I did that. Link to comment
Guest wellbredbitch
the only other game i have is TombRaider. i get to see all the intro scenes and then when Lara is in the sea my screen either shows a blue screen crash dump or after alot of screen stutter it restarts. i cleaned the insides of it with a small soft paint brush, whilst vacuuming the lifted dust and fluff up. all the connections seem to be firm and there isn't any obvious damage. i put it back together and started it up. bizarrely, during startup, the device manager started and after a few minutes it gave the message that the software for my new device was installed and it was ready to use. i started Skyrim, a chose to start a new game. it was all normal untill Alduin attacked. then the crazy spiking and colour distortion started again. if it is just the spiking, my character can still look around and usually there is a part of the scenery unafffected. i can then navigate my way to the tower where Ulfric and the others are. once inside everything is normal. no weirdness. i go up the stairs and after Alduin has made handy escape hole for me, i jump across to the inn and the spikes start again. from this pattern i have discovered that interior cells function normally. combat runs normally inside too. go outside and its crazy colours and spiking after a few seconds. whilst i am typing this, my screen temporarily locks up. which is also weird. my computer is 9(nine) years old. it has an AMD Phenom 9500 quad core 2.20ghz processor. 3gb memory. Nvidia Geforce 9500 gt card. i recently installed windows 7. i sort of realised it was time to get a new desktop before all this started. i installed the Nvidia Geforce experience utility. it didn't have any features for me.
