trekie Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Pretty much what it says on the tin. I've tried both SE and AE versions, and have installed both through MO and Vortex separately. In all cases, I get the Sexlab tab in my MCM and can open it, but when I click "Install" it just sits there. No popups saying to hold on, no changes to the Sexlab tab. For a bit more info, it hasn't caused any crashes, and my computer has two separate disks, with all my internet and important software on one, and games and mods on the other.
Just Don't Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Don't try with SE and AE. Get the version that matches your executable and SKSE versions. Also get the corresponding Address Library version for your game. Don't use both Vortex and MO2. Only use one mod manager to manage your mods. Way easier and less prone to conflicts and user errors that way. Once you press the install Sexlab line in the MCM it'll change to an "installing..." or something, at that point you have to close the menu and wait for a while, you'll see some messages in the corner of the screen, one of them tells you when the install is completed. There are no other messages or popups involved. Press install in the MCM, close all the menus and wait for a while.

But sadly I (Or, I guess I should say, thankfully) I haven't installed both SE and AE versions simultaneously (That's on me and my poor choice of wording in the initial post). The issue I'm having is with that last half, specifically - When I hit 'Install' it doesn't do any of that. Nothing changes or alters, the menu staying the same just as if I had not selected anything. No loading, no installing message.
Just Don't Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 What I mean is you must check which executable version you have (the product version of the SkyrimSE.exe file) and get SKSE, Address Library, Sexlab Framework and any other mod with a dll or similar for said executable version. Once you do and after running FNIS and all of that, go in game and once you have complete control of your character open the SL MCM, confirm all the requirement checks are OK (this is best done by opening the MCM while in 3rd person view) and press the Install Sexlab... line in the MCM and close all the menus and wait. Do this in a new game with the bare minimum requirements if you have to, only to ensure you're getting the very basic stuff right before adding more things. If you're using the wrong version of SL, SKSE or Address Library you'll have issues so better check that first.
