Problem with my character's eyes.

I've done a quick search on the forums to see if any threads had been posted about this (and if there have; then my apologies). I've had this problem pop up from time to time, and I'm not exactly sure what causes it. I did some basic research and troubleshooting to try and find out what triggers it, but frankly I'm at a loss.

 

Really, the issue is that my character's eyes are completely misaligned. The eye mesh is not placed inside the eye socket (it's much lower). I tried using the showracemenu command to try and tweak it, or even change the face entirely, but to no avail. And so I defer to you experts. Within the showracemenu it seems that all "human" races have it (Nords, Bretons, Imperal, etc...).

It might be that you have both race menu and Enhanced Character Edit in the same load list as they do the same thing add sliders more options colors and face features and what not. I'm pretty sure you can only run 1 at a time or they will be butting heads with each other and the last one in the load order will overwrite the first one. Could also be one of the eye mods you have Clean Invisibility Effects plus Eyes Fix and Fixed Eye Adaption not sure what either one of these are but they might be the cause. I would suggest either turning ECE or race menu off and seeing if that fixes it. If not try turning the eye fixes off and seeing if that fixed it. If all else fails try turning so many mods off at a time check game shut down repeat till you find the culprit. But i'm betting on ECE race menu as the reason you are having the eye problem.

I only have ECE running and I get this as well, all I do is save then load normally fixes the problem my end, then again I also run the eyes of beauty pack.

Yeah, that's pretty much what happens with me. The only thing I found weird was that when I attempted to create a new save file, my new character's eyes were still all wonky. Anyways, I'm doing a fresh install, and I don't mind losing a save file since this one doesn't have much progress to it. I mostly just tweaked and tested out mods.

I'm not OP, but I had the exact same problem as OP and dastor's suggestion above (disable AshenFollowers.esp) totally fixed it.  Since this is the first result of a google search for "misaligned eyes skyrim" I thought I'd confirm that disabling/uninstalling Ashen's Followers is the solution.  Now I wonder if there's a way to somehow fix Ashen's Followers to work with the Race menu...
