HappyRiolu Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 I have tried everything in my power but the god damn game won't start. At first it was because the "Client ship world has errored". I tried deleting the old characters and making new ones. I have removed all mods, both from steam and from my local folder. It always goes through the chucklefish intro and then crashes. I have tried validating the files. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I also tried clearing my storage folder. Nothing helps. Here's the log. Please help me. If there's some obvious issue I haven't noticed then I am ready to take the blame for that. starbound.log.1

So, looks like you skipped a requirement and the modder did not setup the game to crash BEFORE loading the game, thus pointing out in large letters "Mod is missing requirement". I get a feeling you may run into issues with the WTM teleporter mod, so strange so many modders create wacky requirement webs for these somewhat simple mods... But oh well. Hopefully this helps you with your issue.
HappyRiolu Posted May 7, 2023 Author Posted May 7, 2023 Thank you, I appreciate it. Although I have all mods uninstalled, it still seems to crash. I found the problem was that I unsubscribed from my whole modlist through my steam collection, asking it to unsubscribe all of them. Problem was that the requirement mod was in the collection, but not the Better Ships mod. So it looks like the issue came from the fact that I accidentally removed it from my collection, meaning it wasn't uninstalled. I found the rogue mod and put it back in so I could uninstall it properly. Thanks for the help.
