I don't think that would be any better than what we already have. I mean who uses his head that much doing this'n that? (I wouldn't find an BJ simulator interesting, tbh. :P ) That goes for the rift itself.

 

Now those accessories that come with those VR porn games linked in the OP are far more interesting... :D

I thought that at first, but the Oculus Rift has made me a believer with horror games. I don't see why it couldn't do the same with sex games. Imagine adjusting your head and looking at a 3D girls breasts from various angles. Or hell, just stick your damn head right into the puppies! You could approach a girl from the side and use a controller to stroke their cheek. Or even applying lotion to a girl's back as you massage them, occasionally looking up to enjoy a beautiful "Crysis/Farcry" graphics sunset.

 

What about more kinky stuff, like a Vampire: The Masquerade game where you bite into girls necks? Or how about you play as a tentacle with an eyeball and you can probe a girl in places?

 

None of these ideas individually would move many copies, but given enough options, I could see this being very successful.

Eh, you may have missed that i'm female.... And i've seen the rift in action a lot already, nice stuff for general immersion (your vampire idea is pretty neat), true, but for sex stuff i don't get it...

I dont have all to much faith in the oculus rift for porn games just yet myself, but i would be lying if i said i was not looking forward to seeing a 3D surround Bukkake Simulator 201x. :D

But i tend to be screaming and running away from them in terror only to wake up in a cold sweat.

That said..That thing does not look very comfortable. And not very fun for a BJ-simulator either. :lol:

I honestly don't really see the appeal of Oculus Rift, although that may be because I need glasses. It is certainly an interesting concept though, and I am admittedly curious as to how they are going to implement the virtual reality aspect, especially in things such as adult games or really anything that uses 1st person.

@sniperjun899 - If you have an issue with 3d as I do, it will probably make you sick for a while. I am still not used to it and unfortunately can't use it at the moment due to issues caused by a recent upgrade.

 

Ignoring the 3d aspects, just being able to look around and have it track correctly is very effective. Perhaps they will give people the option to disable the 3d... ?

I think people will not play with this all the time, simply because of inner ear issues...

But yes, OR seems awesome, for adult games or any other genre :)
