Saint_Olaf Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I had this load order sorted and added a mod, then ran Loot now I am back where I was. 99% sure this is a load order thing. Getting really choppy FPS and Audios can be choppy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Load Order: # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer. steelpanther24 Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 First, check your video drivers are up today. NVidia has been issuing quite a few these past few months. Second, LOOT messes up load order and Vortex doesn't necessarily show the correct order, so double check that: Make sure to use the correct load order for this: ENBLightsHDRPatch.esp UltraInteriorLighting.esp EnhanchedLightsandFX.esp ELFX_ENBLight_Patch.esp The above is from the ENB Patch mod you are using. I have started to move away from using LOOT, because it seems to introduce performance errors. However, I may have other issues, so use LOOT as you see fit, but always keep in mind that it may not solve your issues. 2

I would second this; haven't used Loot in years as I've found it causes more issues then it solves. 1

Always has been always will be. Another thing you can check is your Papyrus log for excessive errors and stack dumps. Run away scripts will cause your issues too.

I did find one issue already where MO is not installing some files into F4SE (looking at you High FPS physics fix). Thats a big problem. I have been putting them MANUALLY. I am up to not dropping below 24 frames now, lol thats a 20 Frame improvement. I think when I get the offending mod back into the correct load order like it was I will be golden. Still cant figure out which one it was. Too bad because when I fixed it before I knew exactly which mod it is. Unfortunately have have a little brain issue and I can remember lol. I know I found the answer before on reddit when I was looking up Fallout 4 FPS and Audio stutter even in loading screens. I found it, moved it and boom all was well. If I could just leave things alone. "Oh its working perfect, all the mods are working as intended, FPS is smooth like silk, not a thing wrong..... Maybe... just 1 more mod...... (Installs 18 mods, hits loot sort) BANG CRASH CHUG). Then here I am. * All my drivers are Up To Date, I am kind of OCD about that and get them almost immeadiatly. I just dont know all the details of what load order should be, I am trying. I have tried to follow guides. Tried LOOT and Wrye Bash, people say the same thing about both of those. Every time I try to follow a Load order guide my game just CTD. So then I LOOT sort and then try to refine through Wrye.
Saint_Olaf Posted April 22, 2023 Author Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) Well this was an issue. Load Accelerator - These instructions were missed. Apply with ENB 1) rename the [d3d11.dll] of this file. (e.g. [la_d3d11.dll]), then place the renamed DLL. 2) Edit [enblocal.ini], rewrite the following contents. EnableProxyLibrary = false to true InitProxyFunctions = false to true ProxyLibrary = [renamed DLL Name(e.g. la_d3d11.dll)] and EnableFPSLimit=true to false * Even when FPSLimit in ENB is enabled, load time is reduced, but reduction becomes little. Fixed this. FPS IS Not dipping below 40 now. Now I have a new Issue lol... This Beer Goggles? ;P Anyone know what to do to fix the permanent night vision? Shift Enter - Its a Night eye effect from the Reactor ENB just turn it off. This apparently was the main issue. Now that I did this its a solid 60fps in 4K with all these mods... All "seem" to be working as expected. "LOCKED LOAD ORDER" ? THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP! Edited April 22, 2023 by Saint_Olaf additional info 1

Use MO2s backup functions; both file load order and plugin order, that way when accidents like that happen you can be back up and running again in seconds instead of hours. I would be wary of any of the physics/fps fixes, especially if they are older ones. I've tried a few of them out recently, like a month or two ago, and they caused huge issues in my game every time (massive FPS drops and audio lag). I upgraded my hardware awhile back and decided to try removing pretty much all the fps related fixes and some ENB ones and to my surprise; my game has never ran so smooth. I couldn't tell you why that's the case but it is. 5 hours ago, izzyknows said: Another thing you can check is your Papyrus log for excessive errors and stack dumps. FO4 can be incredibly stable if you get everything just right. I have some saves that have 6, 7, 8+ real days worth of time logged on them, 0 crashes and only a few minor vanilla bugs encountered. 36 minutes ago, Saint_Olaf said: I just dont know all the details of what load order should be, I am trying. So then I LOOT sort and then try to refine through Wrye. The problem is LOOT and Wrye Bash are old, like early Oblivion Era old; and generally aren't well suited to sorting anything involving scripts and the like. More obscure or niche mods are unlikely to be handled properly, anything adult oriented definitely won't be handled right. Wrye Bash's primary purpose was to create Bashed patches for merging two mods together to avoid difficult to resolve conflicts, like two mods attempting to make changes to the same Level List. It definitely wasn't made for load order sorting; while it can be used for fine tuning your load order IF you know what you're doing, it won't do it automatically. Unfortunately, there is no magic "right" load order, as everyone usually has at least a handful of must have mods for themselves, that other people have never heard of. Looking through your list, I can honestly say I've never even heard of 70% of the stuff your using; that said, years of looking through load lists that work and ones that don't, you start to get a general idea of where things need to be. After that, it's a matter of fine tuning it to make sure the more sensitive mods get positioned where they'll function without issue. Having done all of that; if your still having issues, then its likely a mod conflict/problem, time to disable everything but the most basic stuff, then slowly add a few at a time until the problem shows itself. This is time consuming, it sucks, and its boring, BUT, when you finally do get everything working as intended; you'll probably play for a few hours, get bored, add some more mods, and start the whole process all over again, lol. If needed, I can post my own load order for you to get a rough idea on where things should go; then its on you to tune and test your own from there.

Once I get back in a mood to play FO4, I spend several hours updating my mod list, getting it working then spend about a week playing before I go off to another game like CKII or Dragon Age or Mass Effect (or Tropico 4 or etc. etc. etc.) In fact I still have some games that are still in their shrink wrap (Fable, Godfather II, etc.) Maybe once I retire I will have time. 2
Joe_Oni Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 If you use Mod organizer 2, you can sync the load order using the left panel to the right plugin panel https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/47325 I add numbers to the mods so I can make certain mods overwrite the right ones
