damarok Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Hello, i am experiencing a problem where sometimes the textures appear as "blocks" either completely black or white when they're not supposed to be. moving around the camera allows to see these white "blocks" instead of actual textures, but the black color never leaves, and when my character is running or walking i can see a little "white" textures here and there. some of the outfits are this way, i also saw a hat on some character and it was purple even though it shouldnt be. I am looking for advice on what could be the cause of that. Tried disabling enb, rebuilding outfits in bodyslide but to no avail. Its not ruining my game for me as i am probably going to use outfits from mods not vanilla (modded outfits are working nicely so far), but still, I would be very grateful for a little guidance here, because its my first encounter with this kind of problem and i am looking forward to fix it. Thank you in advance (pls help lol)
Guest Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 A purple mesh = missing texture, 99.9% of the time. Your pics look like the outfits texture is the wrong one, which probably is some kind of mod conflict / overwrite of textures. Hope that helps, its all I got, LOL.

damarok Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 (edited) I just found out that the barkeeper clothes are located in "overwrite" folder, atleast mo2 says so. maybe thats why the textures are messed up. no idea how to fix it though, so maybe i will just accept it. too bad im using Wartimes which uses that outfit. and npcs too. edit: maybe i should limit my troubleshooting to mods that only touch this specific set of clothes Edited April 18, 2023 by damarok
Grey Cloud Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 If it is just this outfit and this outfit is the only one in the overwrite folder then the chances are that moving out of there to its proper location will do the trick. Are the characters with the purple texture (actually more of a lavender or lilac) wearing the barkeep outfit?
damarok Posted April 18, 2023 Author Posted April 18, 2023 Disabling BD's Armor and Clothes Replacer fixed it for me. I still only tested it very quickly so im gonna have to check whether the "lavender hat bug" is fixed aswell. I hope so. Thank you guys for advice, it actually helped to get a clutch on this annoying bug much faster.
