Weird floppy wrists

I'm using a CB++ modified body with TBBP but (perhaps stupidly) I decided to try on a couple of chsbhc BBP outfits.

Shortly thereafter I noticed something weird going on with the wrists, not only of my char but of all female NPC's. It's only noticeable when walking (not sneaking, running etc.).

I've checked from all angles and this isn't the wrist clipping with the pants. Since it affects all female NPC's and not only me (I'm using Custom Races) I figure it's got something to do with the walking animation. Just to make sure I copied old meshes, textures and animations from a backup copy into the appropriate folders, but the problem persists.

I've also uninstalled the chsbhc outfits and I'm loading a much earlier save, but the wrists are still floppy.

Because of the timing I figure they were the cause of this, but I can't for the life of me figure out how.

I guess it's possible it's always been like this and I've just noticed, but I'm not THAT old and senile (I hope).

Any ideas?

I had been using the Butt Bounce TBBP thingy by leCid. I tried replacing them with the original animations from your link, but the wrists are as floppy as ever (plus no butt bounce).

I don't get this.

Just in case anyone is wondering - I'm running FNIS after every animation replacement.

3 reasons I have on my mind

- missplaced node in skeleton

  -  try another skeleton and see if it goes away

- missrigid body.

  - try another body with the same node rigid in it to test

- missplaced nodes in the keyed animation.

  - try another animation file, some animations mostly older ones have flaws on new bodies/skeletons, same new with old ones

it can be the body winny. If the skeleton attached to the body is rigged incorrectly that can happen.

sorry my mistake, I had not thought of. I thought if he has used a TBBP animation also use the correct skeleton. BBP skeletons would still cause a crash, therefore keep my thought was that the fault lies in the animation.

OK - it must be the animation (or a combination of skeleton/animation). I tried a non bbp/tbbp animation (from xp32's animation pack) and the wrists are fine.

I have been using the TBBP package for a month now without problems so I figured something must have happened somewhere quite recently. I'm tearing my hair out (almost - I'm not nuts) because now the wrists are all I can look at when my character walks.

I reinstalled the whole thing from scratch (cbbe, cb++, tbbp, xpms), but the wrists are still floppy. Wouldn't more people have this problem if the animation, skeleton or mesh was to blame?

I don't want to do a reinstall of the whole game plus mods, but it seems the only way to go if I'm to get to the bottom of this.

I really appreciate the comments above, but I'm still stuck. Any ideas would be most welcome.
