ronttu Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Has anyone gone to the bloodsucking side of Skyrim yet? Does it still have those horrid face morphs? Seems by the wiki that vampires are like the ones in Oblivion, so being a vampire is more or less just a nuisance until some vampirism overhaul arrives. I had hoped they'd move back to the Morrowind-style vampires, but oh well..
leddis3 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 No bad face morphs, but no good ones either. Horrible eyes (but texture is easily replaced). Gameplay is abysmal. Still can only feed on sleeping npcs, powers are horrible, you get more "powerful" the longer you go without feeding (counter-intuitive), at stage 4 vampirism everyone somehow knows you're a vampire and instantly attacks you. No neat secrets like Eltonbrand either. Pretty bland at the moment.
Tam Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 yeah, also I was a little ticked off that they made nighteye have a 60 second duration when its toggleable and can be used as many times per day as you want.
galgat Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Let one of the lessor vamps suck on you a bit in a fight they will hit you with this red spell.. and you will get the disease. I went there for a little bit, then went back to a previous save. You must drink blood are people will start to hate you.. But your appearance is not changed so much as was done in Oblivion.. Or I did not play as one long enough to have anything happen to me. Catch people sleeping, and sneak in, and drink there blood. I may try it again latter, and try to stay one longer, I don't like the daylight Banes that much, your manna & health will not Regen during the day. so you pretty much become a night thing.
