"Dream Girl" body mod.

Seems like a lot of work went into this, the body looks good. Hopefully there will be more clothing/armor mods for it soon.

What's the point of making conversions if the mesh itself isn't finished? And knowing Petro it will take him like 3 years to make any further progress with it.

 

Anyway, as technically excellent as this body may be, I find it rather unimpressive; some parts look just plain weird - like the oblong boobs or drumstick calves - and overall the body is way to petite to look good in the game environment. Meh...

I really liked this body even though it's far from my ideal. I reckon you can see the quality of the work that's gone into it when you bend it about in some more extreme poses, no ugly distortion that I could find at all, it held up very well. I'm with electricsheep though, didn't like the calves or the boob shape and it's far too light at max weight for my tastes - sometimes I roll a toon to be chunky, my ideal body mod doesn't dictate the terms too much. Besides, 7B's thighs have spoiled me.

I don`t get what people find weird about the DG Body....I think the drumstick calves and long boobs look way more aesthetically correct than 7Base`s monster hips and CBBE`s soccer boobs...not to mention UNPs fat asses below skinny upper bodies.

And from point of game environment...a skinny girl swinging a greatsword is quite strange yeah....but a female bodybuilder mage is even stranger

I just don`t respect critics for the DG Body in a topic that deals with the DG Body....that`s like going to a club and criticizing the loud music there.

There are plenty of other possibilities for Do-gooders to make the world better

It needs armour, I can only agree to the postings above me. The body itself is great, but the armor that is available until now really lacks - and is far too "special interest" in some cases (f. ex. the catsuit thingy - though well done, I'd like to stress).

 

If anyone here can do some conversions, I'd be happy.

It's a quite a bit heavier than DG, but without ridiculous monster knockers and other pro-porn crap. And it comes with a fitting set of vanilla armour for all DLCs.

I'm following dreamgirl and eagerly awaiting more armor coverage. I tried it again today and its amazing, and as said the way the body moves for animations is amazing. But my cloth mage has no armor love.

I recently spent a bit of time comparing Dream Girl and Lady Body (which I'd never tried before - than God for Google translate!), and they are both really amazing and detailed, head and shoulders above all the other bodies, IMHO, if what you are looking for is an anatomically correct-ish, close to realistic woman (although UNP made a good fist of it, and Leito's pretty good too, I think). 

 

I guess until there's a complete armor replacer, or a new DG race, or a version with big bazoomies, punters aren't going to use it much for their own avatars.  What I've been pottering about with is substituting it for standalone companions' bodies - works very well in that context, with the armors that are extant (particularly the Eldgamel, really suits her).

 

Definitely one to keenly track; by rights, it and its variants (ahem, big bazoomies please ) ought to take over eventually.

I'm working on a conversion for the Barkeeper's Mini Dress atm. Still needs work refined weight painting and clipping fixes but the base shape is there. Used the bra support modders resource of the body. Well anyway here are some pics.

It's still far from finished but here is a quick test of some TBBP weighting with the often asked about collision idle. Had to change off the physics ponytail for what ever reason it doesn't play well with the hdt.xml on my install/system. Still isn't 100% right as they breasts stick until the hands are lowered but you get the idea  .

I can absolutely understand if people have a different taste and want a surgically "enhanced" (I'd say mutilated) body, but speaking of immersion and reality - what seems really important to people, at least when it comes to mods that modify gameplay mechanics such as needs and diseases and the like - the DG body is first choice.

I personally would LOVE the UNP BBL ("Body By Leito") body dream-girlyfied (i. e. not being thinner, but stripped of all these unbearable and ugly UNP arm, knee and leg deformations when posing, it's really gross). But I guess that won't happen. I like breasts and butt to fit the rest of the body - and I like a well defined vagina. Besides: Natural girls are a bit heavier (and I'm not talking about fat bodies - not my cup of tea) when they have huge breasts or, if they have small ones, they're skinny.

 

We had a commercial from a soap producing company over here that used normal figured ladies for it. They did that to make a statement against eating disorders which so many young girls start having when they want to force their body in that sick porn or catwalk model shape. These girls look normal imho:

But I will never understand why people are so keen on CBBE. I get the creeps looking at that non-existing vagina alone. Not to speak of the whole rest of it. Just opinionated palaver though. @ all CBBE fans: No offense intended. It's just that I really do not like that body.

This is not the mini dress but here is a set of test files if you will for Northgirl assembly required if you know what I mean. This is just the nif files packed up in an archive you will need the original mod. Also it only includes a nif for the original texture and you will have to place them in the correct folder yourself. Skin weighting is based off the TBBP body even though it's really only BBP with butt weighting. Let me know what you all think and if you find any major bugs. Enough rambling here is the link

Quite interesting. I was impressed when I looked at the 3dsmax image showing perfect body curvature.

 

Anyone planning to make a bodyslide preset for this? If yes then I might be more willing to work on armor conversions ;P.

i just give up using cbbe and going now just use dreamgirl, my skills with 3ds max are at least poor, but im going take (going find some in some way) to learn more, kinda tired of cbbe for now.

What with that and the vanilla conversions (Petrovich's own linked at the Dream Girl Nexus site, and dTd's conversion of the remaining vanilla), plus the 3-d labia and pubes by GECK.O here, my Skyrim life is now complete   (Well, almost - I'd loooove for Petrovich to do a "slightly blessed" version with a tad bigger bazoomies, but not pneumatic, rather natural big heavy hangers.)

 

And there's also no longer any excuse for the rest of you not to try out this stunning beauty, with her natural-looking anims and remarkably un-weird stance and shoulders

Just discovered a recently-uploaded Version 1.02 of this on a Russian site.  It has a tbbp version option built in, plus animations, for both nude and lingerie.  No idea if it's a further worked-on version of the original or just some kind of repackaging though.
