General (very generic) Tale of Two Wastelands FO3/NV mod question

Alright, so the Official Tale of Two Wastelands™ website very clearly says that if you install any mods beyond what they recommend, they basically won't help.

Here is my question for anyone who knows:

 

Can I install a FO3 mod or NV mod into my TTW game and (in theory) have it work? Let's say for example there is an armor mod for FO3. Can I install it and have it work on TTW, or does it need to be a NV mod?

 

Please answer as if you were explaining to a 10 year old ?

Sure works. Though I don't know the exact conversion process for TTW3.3, respectively if there still is on or things have changed. In the older TTW versions (2.94 for exapmle) you still had to convert F3 mods via a FNVEdit script. But generally, yes, almost every F3 mod will work with TTW.
