Crossx6 Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Hi, is there a way to do this other than holding shift, clicking the sims, and setting the roles? The animations already know which actor should be performing them /F or /M. I'd just like the game to consider only those and ignore the B
Crashdown117 Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Not possible, unfortunately. WW offers options to treat M and F as B, and for treating B as either M or F, but not for disregarding B in "mixed" cases.
SkyBarbie Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 This is why I stopped using animations from Anarcis. He wants his animations to play for all roles and all genders which makes it a total mess for players like me who want to keep most of their Sims heterosexual. He heavily abuses the "B" flag and instead of manually disabling 80% of his animations I just stopped using them altogether. Also don't use "The Gamerboy" animations as 90% of them are gay or bisexual. It is a pain in the butt, but I have 50% of my installed animations disabled so I can maintain my sexual preferences with my Sims. Turbodriver made it easy to disable currently playing animations by shift clicking on the Sim and selecting 'Disable current playing animation'. It takes a LONG time to manually sort all of the poorly coded animations out however. You can also use this console code: ww.disable_ambiguous_animations Turbodriver has bent over backwards for players but he can't totally fix authors who code their animation XML files poorly/incorrectly. 2

I feared it would disable the animations with B, but I'd like to fix them and keep them. 14 hours ago, SkyBarbie said: code their animation XML files poorly/incorrectly. So the roles are specified in an XML? If I could get to those XMLs it would be much easier to update them. 1

Technically the roles aren't defined but when an author does B/B it allows everything. Originally, I started fixing the animation XML files but it was a HUGE chore! It got to be so tedious that I gave up after a month. After disabling 50% of the animations in my game I end up with 7,700 being available to use. With all the WW filters/settings I have in place it reduces that number to probably a 1000 or less.
hughraphael Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 I've just got used to pressing shift-click and changing the roles myself when I see one playing which doesn't fit the Sims in question.
