I agree completely with your sentiment. What sucks is that the problem posters won't read this. 

 

What if we just respond to "Link to WickedWhims update" but link to this thread. Or another thread that says, "Should've read the forums before you posted, biyatch."

The problem is, there is no news. There's no way of knowing whether Turbo has the updated version almost ready or whether it's still going to be days or weeks away.

What we do know is they're working on it and it'll be released as soon as it's ready.

Can someone get a hold on Turbo directly or something? Maybe he could change title of WickedWhims v174h [2023-03-13] to something like WickedWhims v174h [2023-03-13] Doesn't work with infants update.

 

Maybe then this flock of one time posters will take 10 seconds to read the info before spamming the forum and making it's unusable.

But they won't read it. They'll still post and bitch. This isn't the first patch that broke a metric shit ton of mods and it won't be the last. People will still think THIER LE is different even when it isn't.

b - maybe the description for the 3/13 update shouldn't make it seem like that's THE update, as someone of us may have mistakenly thought.

This is my first sims update whilst using mods/custom assests/animations so forgive me if i'm being dumb.

 

I know the recent update has broken the WW mod, and we just have to be patient whilst we wait for an update. However, will the update affect the animations I've downloaded previously or is it just the mods that get broke by the updates?

 

Just wondering so I know whether I should delete everything and redownload (once fixed), or whether i can keep the animations safe whilst I wait for WW to be updated?

Animations should be fine, just hold on till WW and any other mods you have are updated
