kamoewarrior Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 So I get that default bodies will automatically apply to sims without needing to select them with Wicked Whims but what if I do use Wicked Whims but I don't want to manually select body replacers for all of my sims via the body selector? All of the description say "default for non WW users" and "non-default for WW users". I just want all the sims in my game to have the same nude body shape and skin textures I installed
Crashdown117 Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Default body parts (actually "default replacements") will override the game default for a given body part (e.g. that basic, salmon set of underwear for females). This is something that WW does with its built-in body parts (as otherwise your Sims could never be fully nude) and any additional "default" body part of the same type (e.g. a female nude top / breasts) will cause a conflict. For me, this was always very clearly visible, as the game would use its own default (e.g. salmon bra) as a fallback whenever I happened to have such a conflict. The only "proper" way to go is hence to use the WW Body Selector, choose the interaction for "All Sims of the same gender configuration", and pick your own "default". Skin overlays should be fine, as long as they are WW-compatible (otherwise some visual oddities might happen), but I don't use any (because of said compatibility issues), so maybe there's another pitfall I'm not aware of. 1

Thank you so much! Its good to know it has some sort of fail safe for conflicting assets.
