SOS AE that works?

So before i ask the most basic question, i've modded skyrim for AGES since oldrim days and had a really good loadorder for my special edition way back like 3 years ago. Decided to take a little break then returned to it but when i returned bethesda pulled that fuckery of force updating Special edition to Anniversary edition and it broke my load order damn nearly completely SO i said fuck it and just uninstalled the damn thing cause it's one thing to build a load order, it's another to go back and check every single 250+ mods to see if they been updated and compatible. I recently decided to give skyrim another go and since it's a fresh install, it automatically put me back into the anniversary edition and i don't feel like jumping through hoops to downgrade. I see that there has been A LOT of progress for anniversary edition, lot's up updates to all my favorite mods and hell even sexlabs got a lovely lil do-over for AE (super awesome of you guys btw!) but now i see that SOS...the number one male genitalia mod is ether completely discontinued or just forgotten cause checking all these threads, theres no signs of a AE port or update. Is there a AE compatible version? one without that one AE patch cause that doesn't work.

The AE SOS patch that was posted on here just causes my MO2 to scream at me that there is a DLL file thats incompatible and if i was to continue to try to use it, i';d be taking major risks to my saved game files or cause the game to act irregularly. SO with that being said. Is there a legit SOS release that is suitable for AE somewhere out there? or at least something of a replacement for SOS? Dear god please say there is cause i already began rebuilding my load order for AE (going down a very very long list of mods) and i'd bloody HATE to have to uninstall everything and use that downgrade patcher just to get sos working....

Also sorry if i'm asking this question or posting this in the wrong location on the thread. It's been literally years since i've returned to the modding community and have gotten back into modding skyrim.

There are some dedicated forums for SE, also threads to follow mods compatible with SE or the later versions (check blue links in my signature).

Go to where your games are installed, open the Skyrim Special Edition folder and right click on your SkyrimSE.exe file -> Properties -> Details. Take note of the Product version stated there. That's your exact game version, you need that to install the correct SKSE and also to confirm you're installing a compatible version of some mods (mods with a dll, like SOS). With that info you'll have to check the description or file info of the mod in question and confirm you're getting a version compatible for your executable and SKSE. For SOS in particular there are several patches uploaded in different places since the original maintainer hasn't updated the mod directly. But all the known dll versions are here now. Select the correct version for your game in the installer and verify no other mods are overwriting this dll in your mod manager.

For other mods try checking the mod page, checking the SE compatibility tracking post (one of the threads linked in my signature/pinned in the main forum section for SE) or even a quick google search. Most things are available for 1.6.640 (latest Steam version) and 1.5.97 (pre-AE version from 2021, the version in use for quite a while before Bethesda released AE and the newer patches).
