Dutchie444 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) I recently downloaded an armour that is invisible on my character when I load it in game. In body slide the model shows up but with no texture. Not sure what’s causing the issue. If anyone has experienced something like this and knows a fix, help would be much appreciated. The solution depends on what caused the problem (see list below). From your description of the problem it is not clear what you mean by invisible. If it is invisible you will be looking at a naked body. If it is missing textures then you will probably be looking at a purpley body (see screenshot below below) or just a head if the meshes are missing too. User error? A popular option. No texture files in the archive? Texture files being installed into a different location than the esp is pointing to? Are you using MO/MO2? Mod is for Skyrim SE/AE? EDIT: Either your edit changed something or I misread the OP. Edited March 8, 2023 by Grey Cloud

Reveal hidden contents EDIT: Either your edit changed something or I misread the OP. My edit was just to fix some grammatical errors. In game the main armour piece turns my whole character invisible (floating head) so it’s probably the meshes that are causing the issue then. Accessory pieces just don’t show up on the character. I use vortex which I know isn’t a lot of people’s preference. Mod is definitely for LE.
Grey Cloud Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 It does sound like the meshes. Are the meshes actually in the location they are supposed to be? If no then: Are they actually in the archive you downloaded? Have you checked on the support page for the mod to see if anyone else if having the same problem? Post link to the mod.

Post link to the mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/114781 Here’s the link. No one else I saw had reported this issue. Not at my computer to check the archive right now.
Grey Cloud Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) If I was you I would find a simpler to understand outfit mod. The description for this mod is contradictory and the mod also uses SMP which is not for the faint-hearted. It’s not the first COCO armour mod I’ve installed, but it’s the first I’ve encountered with this issue.
Grey Cloud Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 The only thing I can suggest is to uninstall the mod then reinstall making sure you select the correct options in the FOMOD.

It also happens to me that , for unknown reason, some are not read by ESP , yet, carefully analyzing the said file, the compilation is correct . When I do, all I do is use the basic nifs and , ritexturize them as I want ( or should ) find them

Now, the COCO Body is not needed, his clothes, or armour, work just the same. I myself have installed the COCO Ronin without the COCO Body and it works great. What is needed, are small details, firstly BodySlide, secondly, just look in the mod what we find there, just click on Preview file contents to open the whole file. The contents will be visible. Now, once we have installed the mod (which also contains the textures), we open BodySlide and look in the Outifit/Body list for the parts that make up the suit, once loaded (again individually) we can either modify them or adapt them to the body we have in use (e.g.: BHUNP 3bbb Advanced), finally just click on build and that's it, the suit will be adapted to our body, thus overwriting the original files
