Mods like Mana Tanks that work on newer bodies?

The author of Mana Tanks SSE hasn't updated the mod since 2017, and although the thread is pretty active, there's only so much scripting a novice can do with nothing but the guidance of his fellow coomers.

Could you be more specific about which bodies you need mana tanks to work on? There might already be a patch available.

Ones with 3 breast bones. Specifically with NiOverride or NetImmerse, NOT Bodymorphs.

okay so if you don't mind downgrading you can get bodymod on Nexus to work with a little tinkering

I was able to get it to work with SLIF after disabling a couple SSE Engine Fixes options to make them compatible.

So, how did you get it to work exactly? Which settings in the SSE engine fixes options did you disable? And where do I find the SSE Engine Fixes? 

 

And is this with 3BA body?  I have been trying to get this mod to work with SSE for a while.

I use a BHUNP fork, but it's a 3 breast bone body, same as 3BA.

SSE Engine Fixes is an SKSE plugin that has an incompatibility with Racemenu, and this incompatibility fucks with SLIF. To fix it, set MemoryManager to false in EngineFixes.toml. If you get CTDs afterwards, then set ScaleformAllocator to false as well.

If you don't have SSE Engine Fixes installed, then your issue was not the same as mine. I don't know if you're using Sexlab Inflation Framework (SLIF) to make ManaTanks use bodymorphs instead of NiOverride to change breast size already, but you should. ManaTanks's native scripts aren't compatible with 3 breast bone bodies. Hope you find the answer you're looking for.
