Whats the missing asset here?

DoM has some Slavetats used, and i tried to reinstalled all the assets I can remember. I thought it was tears but using Slave tats on someone else, tears works perfectly.

i should mention these two slaves are bandits of four i recently captured. the other two have normal faces, and every other female npc looks normal.

I think its a facepaint since that's what racemenu does when you load a preset while missing the facepaint. Could be something simple like a mole.dds file that comes with ECE (enhanced character edit.)

 

If you drag the facegen into nifscope, you can see where she wants to get her textures from.

Huh, i haven’t deleted any assets much less face paints. Whats the most common ones included like ECE?

Sometimes I have to install ece but leave the plugin disabled ( so only the file is open) so that mods can find its mole file.

 

But dragging the facegen into nifscope might tell you whats missing.

 

1) Drag her facegen nif into nifscope

2) Use the mouse to click on her face so it becomes green.

3) look on the left and expand the tree BSDynamicTriShape > BSLightingShaderProperty > BSShaderTextureSet

 

4) At the bottom of the screen you'll see something like

 

actors\Character\female\femaleheads.dds

acttors\character\imperialfemale\femalehead_msn.dds

 

Those are examples from a random nif I chose, but look at yours and see if you have texture files in whatever location the nif is asking for.

Now the other two have the same issue. i don't think its a facegen missing issue, it seems dynamic. i think its something to do with PAHE or DoM.

Well a missing facegen would be a brown face or a ctd. I think its just a facegen is looking for a specific texture.

Did you do a rescan textures in SlaveTats MCM?

 

Are you on LE? It could be some wrongly backported textures.

So you mean the blush from 4.1 LE is bad format?

It's rescan or rebuild database or restart. I know it's there on SE. No idea about LE.

Ok I'll replace the LE texture with what we had in version 3. But now I am worried the meshes might be wrong too.
