can this mod be ported to SSE?

So i'd like to request this mod be ported to SSE, with permission from the original author, problem is the author doesn't speak English as a language so that may be hard....

 

I imagine with permission this could be linked to More nasty critters as a lore reason to why they exist or something.

Have you tried installing the LE mod normally? If it ctds, then you can run it through cathedral assets optimizer.
