NPC'S WON'T ATTACK ME

Recommended Posts

Hi there! My current problem is that Npc's wont attack me, no matter if there a natural enemy faction like bandits, if there spiders, or if I go ham attacking them. I was able to get gaurds in solstheim to attack me once, after commiting a bunch of crimes and then attacking a gaurd, but other then that I haven't had any luck getting npcs to attack me. Npc's attack eachother just fine, they just seem to ignore me tho. its also not a problem with detection since I can talk to the npc's just fine. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance for helping this hopeless soul;-; ❤️

I'd check if anyting is messing with faction records in SSEEdit. That or some mod could be temporarily adding player to a faction set friendy with bandits to prevent aggression but having trouble with temporary part.

Just trying to help:

First mods that do the same action aka SD an immersive slave both add your character to the slave fraction, which scripts can conflict or not get cancel when there quest ends. I have always let SD load below all other slave mods other than defeat which is always low to make sure no other mod overwrites it.

How you can fix

1st: the easiest way is to go back to a save before the npc,s became passive.

2nd is to use a save cleaner to get the broken scripts that possibly causing your problem.

3rd: check your load order plugins to see if any mods are overwrite or conflicting with each other

Also posting a plugin list is helpful for others to help determine what mods may need to loaded higher or lower in your load order.
