This is not working right. It's directing me to "Greet in with Madame", but not giving me the option to check in when I click on her and tried everything, every option on every pie menu, nothing. The chat with girls isn't working, and the chat with madame only works sometimes. The whole brothel is a chaotic mess, I had to put no sex signs around the first flood just to hold conversations. I'm not sure why I needed Nisa Wicked Perversions, It doesn't seem to have any co-function with this mod.

If you have already interacted with the Madame Sim before, selecting the "check in with <name of madame sim>" option from the Friendly/Small Talk pie menu usually works for me, otherwise the "Friendly Introduction" seems to work if you have not interacted with the madame sim previously.

 

If you move the mouse cursor over the various sims, they should have some sort of tag (tart, john, jane, madame) to identify their role.

 

To satisfy the "Chat with girls" task, the Friendly/Small Talk/Discuss Work seems to work for any of the sims that are flagged as a "tart", as shown in the example image below.

 

It won't work if the sim is tagged in the "Jane" role.

 

Nisa's Wicked Perversions is needed for the prostitution functionality if I'm not mistaken.

 

If these don't work, perhaps there is a conflict with another mod.  By listing some of the other mods you are also using when reporting your issue, it might help out in case someone else has experienced a similar issue and found a conflict, or if the mod author is aware of any.

Hi i am not sure what to do now. I have the lot with your blueprint building placed and set as brothel. I started the career and did all the checks in the career pop up ie offer self, buy supplies etc. so all have the golden tick check. i get to my work day and i dont seem to do anything. i dont get any pop up asking if i want to actively go there or rabbit-hole. I just dont get anything. How do i even get the job to trigger to ask me if i wish to go there or not? i do have the get to Work DLC or what ever its called so i know i can attend actual locations as i have done with past jobs.

 

I not getting any error messages either. I just seem to get to my shift start time and then nothing, i am just stood around at home.

Oh ignore my previous post. Its working just fine now. I didnt realise the job was listed twice in careers. One i guess with Go To Work ability and one without. i restarted the career with the right one and i can now go to the Brothel fine and work

Thanks for replying, I'll reload it and give it one more try. While I know my sim was chatting with the other working girls (Tarts}, it wasn't giving me credit for doing so, which happened a few times as well while doing the same with the madame. This does not account for the fact the Brothel is comically out of control just a few hours into the work shift, and becomes nearly impossible to work in.  Also, there is a rather vague work at home task "Chat Up Johns" "to find out their intentions {?}" but I have no idea what it wants my sim to do, can you clear this up for me please? 

PS. Never mind the last part of this, I think I may have blindly stumbled in the answer.

Perhaps as the mod is developed further, things will be more streamlined with specific options in the Good Time Girls pie menu, or more of the friendly/flirty pie menu options would also satisfy the tasks.

 

I agree with you regarding the "failed credit" issue where certain actions don't seem to register and you have to try multiple times before they do.  However, I think this is more of an issue with the Sims rather than the mod itself.

 

I've seen similar issues trying to interact with other sims when I've traveled to a nightclub venue, where you are trying to flirt with another sim, cause a fight or some other social interaction, but the targeted sim just ignores you and keeps dancing, or decides they need to go to the bar and grab a drink and your queued interaction goes "poof".

I tried it again and had the same problems. The option to check in with Madame (for the "Greet the Madame" task) will not come up and I tried every dialog option, every menu, nothing. All I can do is ask advice, but otherwise her dialogs are the same as everyone else.  I got the "Greet the other girls" task to register successfully once out of eight attempts (with three different "tarts") before giving up, even though the interaction succeeded every time, it still would not give me credit for it. I guess this mod is not doable for me. Thanks for trying to help me with it.

Mine usually complete with friendly->gossip, but I had issues not registering properly and need to cycle around. It is defiantly a bit buggy.

Installed the mod and it has been a blast the brothel side and active work aspect is working perfectly and is great fun.

 

I am having some issue that with prostitution outside of work, if i offer the sim to anybody the message appears and then nothing happens as if there is something missing.

i have the requirements and the mod is working well in all other aspects so i am not sure how this is happening.

 

Great work on the mod and looking forward to the future

It finally dawned on me, what I was doing wrong. I was looking for the dialog option "Check In" when there wasn't one. I sure wish the mod maker told me this. All I had to do with her was make small talk in the Friendly dialog option, and the check in task was done. Also, you might wish to change the tasks to be less gender preference to men since most of the clients the brothel is getting are women.

That is from the NisaK's Wicked Perversions mod? I would guess that since it is not required for the brothel anymore, it should not be required outside of the brothel either. 

In the older version, when you started the career it would automatically have registered you to NWP prostitute service too, but since the new version does not do this anymore, I think that the fact that is not working without registering is a bug. At least it feels like a bug. 

 

But we may need the author's opinion on this.

I have the same problem like FireSplitter. Mod works great in the active career part but seems not to work outside. You can offer yourself and the client says yes but no animations start.

Not sure if it`s due to wrong settings but animations work well in the active career and if i register as rose from the NisaK-mod, so I don`t believe it`s a settings problem.

 

Edit: Oh, some problems in the active career too: greet the other girls doesn`t always work for me, too. In the popup description it says "use friendly interactions".

I just used almost every possible friendly interaction and none counted. Worked in my first shift, though. Not sure why it didn`t work this time

Just as a follow up to the problems I first reported with this mod. As it is, I got most of the dialog interaction tasks to register at least 80% of the time and have {sort of} figured out why the ones that didn't register failed.  The "Give Complement" tasks has only registered twice out of around 20 attempts, and some of the interactions with the "tarts" sometimes fail to register as a completed task. 

 

I did 2 changes to the brothel to make in run more smoothly and efficiently (and unfortunately, a lot less funny).

 

1. Put up "No sex in room" signs in all the first-floor rooms. keeping "production" on the second floor only.

2. Get rid of the back door, porch. backyard and BarBQ. Sorry but I don't think people don't go to whore houses to eat anything other than the whores, so why do they have a whole kitchen and back yard BarBQ? 

 

Also, after making it to level 10 (Madame) in the career, one of my sims task at work was to greet herself (Greet madame). How do I do that?

HOW TO PROGRESS "CHECK OUT THE SCENE" at stage 2 of good time girls.

For those like me who couldnt get the check the scene "nightclub" here is what I did I took the La Hacienda "Swinger club" becomes nightclub if not then set it to it.
Step 2 I gave it 3 traits Bimbo house "could be why its working now" sexhouse and casually nudity.
Step 3 I gave my character these traits cus I drank a potion so I could change em. to this Bimbo, loveable and pheromonal flower. Probably none of thse but again could be bimbo trait.
Step 4 I registed to Tam Tab on phose, so when on that lot I use the "offer yourself" from GTG and directly after "que it up" I used the "Offer my body" from the Ho Control, and Puff now I can progress, cant say for sure which one of these did it but I know it worked perhaps for those who couldnt progress could try some of these out and tell it to all of us, so we know what exactly is needed.

Try and do what I do gossip>gossip then you do smalltalk>ask about day  then smalltalk>brighten day and try to get to the lady first sometimes if it changes to group it might cancel your action, but this seems to do the trick for me, tbh I dnt talk to the girls I greet the clients and if I alrady know em do same as for Madam.

I wrote somewhere in the thread how I got it to work not sure which of the options were the kicker but, I got it to count.

I love this mod, but I have never been able to figure out the "ask for advice" feature. I'm not sure where in the social menu to find it, I've looked on all kinds of forums and no info there either. Plus the in-game tips are pretty vague. 
Any advice appreciated!

Sorry for my poor English, it's not my native language. My problem is this... I downloaded a batch to be the brothel. I put the trait and all other requirements, but the sims do not enter the lot. It appears that they cannot reach the location. Has anyone gone through something similar? I even deleted the ports to see if that was it. I know the modder put one up for download but there are too many cc's for my PC

There is a speceal GTG in the pie menu its yellow in the root of it, you only get the opportunity to say ask for advice to your madam in this, to other clients you get the opportunity to chat clients up or offer yourself "paid sex" so its there in the root.

I cannot say for sure what it is since I use "The Glistening Rose" its Oakerstead customized into brothel, which means if you cannot get the house to work from others, you can just take this house and change it to a brothel and of coourse give it some beds and all.
I do think this was what came with the mod, and it works fine on my end.

But what I did I use "Betterbuildbuy", just in case I do the ctrl+c and type bb.moveobjects so its enabled before I plot the house down, if this is not on then it might rearrange items and some of these can end up blocking pathways, if the authors has used similar tools as betterbuild buy which basically makes it possible to place items next to eachother.
