Most of the work was done by Expired6978..... Requirements: RaceMenu by expired6978: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29624/? install first! oli3d Posted August 20, 2013 Author Posted August 20, 2013 additional notes 08202013 some explanations: i hope to develop a mod or hope some one uses my mod as a hint to simplify the appearence of npcs. normally if you want to alter a npcs body texture, for example adding a tattoo, you open gimp/photoshop/paint..whatever, then the CK *lotsofwork21z3p1asdliu2q* an when you are ready you have a mod that alter one or all npcs using the same textureset... you normaly have to make a individuell texture/skinnaked set for every individuall npc.... other example: you are a slaver..... you caught this lovely slave an wishes to mark him/her as your property... a branding would be handy..... you are a guard ... you caught this stinky thief.. how to signal that this bad boy/girl is a thief? a mark would be handy..... the ladys.... after a fight against a troll and bathing its time to get a new make up.....(this may be the trickiest part) your follower or npc are ill.... the small pocks equivalent of skyrim.... just cast a override with a pock texture... so take my hints and my source and develop develop develop..... A bunch of tattoos textures and some unp stockings use overlays already, but it's only for player. I wonder if it's possible to add some kind of a menu that will appear when the tattoo spell hits the target, and let you choose the texture you want to apply...

oli3d Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 What's the maximum number of tattoos one can have? the limit of the mod is 1 right now...(proof of concept) the limit of the nioverride system by Expired6978 is: 6 for the body 3 for the hands 3 for the feets that are the default values of nioverride.ini the player(racemenu + override plugin ) can have 6+3+3 = 12 tattoos at the same time. so theoretically, if i expand my mod i can use the same limit for all the npcs/followers. but: - first i have to test this for stability, performance issus ... how many npcs can be tattooed for the same time... etc. - then i have to test and develop a simmple system to attach taattos to the npcs... so it will took a while before i publish a fully developed mod. oh.... by the way you find my beautifull tatto in data/textures/actors/o3dTattoos/*.dds.... it is an unp texture... so if you want to alter the tattoo to your neeeds... simply edit this tattoo in gimp/photoshot etc... valynon Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Hello, What is the name of Expired6978's version? I searched Nexus and could not find anything like this. Most tattoo mods are player only and require the racemenu to add. I like your idea of using a spell (if I could get it to work, same problem - spell goes off but no tattoo shows. I have updated SKSE and RaceMenu mod) Edit: got it to work - had to upgrade skse again as the automated installer did not work right thanks
