OysterMug Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I was researching online how to create voices for use with Text-to-Speech software, but they all require you read a pre-written script for sampling purposes... which is no good if you want to mimic a celebrity. Which led me to "FakeYou", a text-to-speech site that already has over 3,000 "celebrity" voices to choose from (eg: several "Lara Croft's"). So if you can't find an exact voice match, you're bound to find something close. Do short T2S conversions for free (no annoying protective background noise of beeps), but if you want to download the results, you'll need a membership. 2
Curtis_S Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 There's also this.. https://www.speakatoo.com/ You need a membership to download anything, and the captchas are a pain-in-the-butt. But it's easy enough to capture the audio playback. There's not a lot of convincing moaning and grunting, unfortunately...

Just use Audacity to record whatever you type and you never have to pay for any membership. Edited February 7, 2023 by pes1972
