Thinking about getting Skyrim, questions about Adult Mods

Soo, hi there, first post here.

I've always been interested in this game in general due to the sandbox nature and massive modder support. But I never went for it since I tend to tire quickly of singleplayer games.

Although now, I've become tired of most of my multiplayer games.. lol

Anyway, I have a question about Skyrim with Adult mods. How well do they fit in to the game?

Let me see if I can get across what I'm asking. Hmm, in my mind there are two extremes. One, these mods integrate so well that sex is like a normal part of life in Skyrim (e.g. NPCs can have sex randomly, you could walk in on a sex scene by accident, storyline missons are even affected in some way). To the other extreme, where basically the sex/nudity only happens when you open a special menu and select what you want to do.

Again, I realize these are two extremes, and while the first extreme would be amazing, I'm not demanding it or saying the current work out there is any less great.

Ive looked into the Sexlabs Defeat mod and it seems interesting, more towards the first extreme of sex being well integrated. But there are so many mods out there I cant wrap my head around it just yet lol.

I'd basically like to play Skyrim, do the story, etc, but have some nudity and sex in it as well. Would I be happy?

Oh and does anyone know if Skyrim ever goes on sale...? Its still $30 on steam, $25 on amazon (which ends up being around $30 anyway after tax)

I hope I've made sense lol, and thanks for any help/advice.

Skyrim modding stage is not yet there (extreme case No1) but deffinetally it's getting there.Maybe not this year but as far as i can tell (i am playing Skyrim still since it's debut back at 2011) next year it will be,especially if LL modders keep up with their devoted tasks at hand. The issue with Skyrim is it's new program language that was introduced with it,Papyrus, so people had to learn it first, and that was a major con since early mods suffered from bad scripting that resulted in ingame poorperformance of mods in addittion to save game files corruption, finally not letting your game to progress. But now, people seem to have got a much better hand on the language and the creation kit and new mods along with upto date mods are being made much better. In sort, i think Skyrim's golden age is due to be presented. For example, there are mods that are fully functional at their given stages of developement (w.i.ps or finished that do things described at your extreme case no1 such as 'lover's comfort' 'sexlab romance' ,the defeated plug -in etc that utilize the sexlab framework and incorporate rather seamlessly their fuctionality in the vanilla gameplay either by dialog or by automatic fuctions based on conditions like player's health, player's hornyness etc.Estrus Chaurus incorporates tentacle sex if you are hit by a Chauru's venom (automatically) then you get pregnant and give birth to little monsters (like the ALIEN movie). There is also a mod that makes your player Character to need to pee if you drink and eat.

Anyway, the modded state of a Skyrim installation is far more interesting of a Vanilla one and if you get to see it/play it you can never go back,it's like two different games.Aside from sex related mods, there are also mainstream ones that are 'a must',just go on NEXUS at greatest mods of all time and you will see what i mean.

But modding your game in a good way demands a lot of reading by your side since there are prerequisites for a stable modded game, unless you are a trial and error lad or lass.

As for endurance in time, there are people here that their save games show total game sessions of 600= hours so i would say that 20-40 $/euros are a great deal!!

If I was at home in France, I'd show you my 1100 hours + of playing Skyrim ! And I, I'm a big fan of multiplayer games ( wow and other mmos, counter-strike, team fortress 2 etc). But Skyrim is really really interesting, if you like creating and shapping your character you will enjoy this game and the mods that you'll find.

Also, you can stop the game a little if you're bored of it and replay after a while. Before going on holiday I was bored of Skyrim, now I'm eager to come back and make a new game !

Try to find a nice multiplayer game and a singleplayer game. That's how I roll since a few years. Skyrim + Chivalry : Medieval Warfare and I'm happy :)

In my humble opinion, sex mods are lore unfriendly, not by definition, but in practice.

I know that some people might disagree since sex is part of normal life, and the idea of raping, enslaving and having sex with your spouse seems perfectly valid in the context of the game. But, come on, sex is not that frequent for just one person (in average). So imagine you use the most lore friendly mods, and complete quest with sex, rape some victims, get raped by some aggressors, go home and sleep with your wife. you just saw about 5 sex scenes in an hour (or one in-game day) minimum. Is ridiculous.

And of course, you can just use one single mod and keep it balanced, maybe just have some nice time with your spouse, perfectly valid, unobtrusive, it doesn't break the feel of the game. But now, will you download the whole friggin sexlab to use only one mod with just two characters, and only occasionally ? (not to mention that it will require nude mods, SKSE, FNIS, and who-know-what-else)

See?

I agree, but most adult mods don't include sex scenes they can just be sexy armors/clothes, nude bodies. And some of them fit the game quite well ( I remember back in 2011 I hunted forsworns for their skimpy outfit). It's just that Loverslab is focus on adult mods so you'll find way better and extreme stuff you won't find in the Nexus or any other site (except maybe the asians' I don't know)

But indeed, some mods are a bit too much if you want lore-friendly mods. The defeat mod, sure you can be captured by some bandits from time to time but seeing your character dying from a fatal killcam is way more funny and surprising imo.

Plus in a way adult mods can make the game make a little more sense depending. For instance a body replacer such as SOS or CBBE removed the underwear that's on characters by default, which in some cases there is no hint of underwear under an outfit, say like with a Forsworn.
