sillygooseboy7 Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I uninstalled Vortex because I'm a fucking idiot. To my knowledge, this means all my mods and their load orders are gone, meaning if I want to make Fallout sexy again, I have to start from scratch. And I really want to make Fallout sexy again. I had a (mostly) perfect build and load order as well... RIP. I'm wondering if there's an NSFW modpack out there that can at least help me start the process. I can't put into words how much I don't want to start the insanely tedious process of spending days installing individual mods, tweaking load orders, testing, and ripping my hair out for the millionth time.

This guide will set you up for all sorts of adult themed mods. It also includes recommended mods (I highly recommend Nuka Ride by @jb.030821) 2
steelpanther24 Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 One more point, that guide has the recommended install order. Unless you are an experienced gamer, do not mess with the install order. Also, the FO4 tech help tries to help people, but most errors come from someone skipping a step, or not checking the version number of the mod they are using. Here is a hint, there is at least one mod (FOI4 animiations by leito) that does not use the latest version of that mod. However if you get messed up, try that forum and/or the discord page. Also, if this works, please change the title of this threat to [solved] so those of us who cruse the tech help forums know it is answered. 1
nIn nIn nIn Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Definitely use the fucking manual for your adult fun. However, if you want a genuinely good guide for your game overall try this one - Just note, it's not really for beginners. Seeing as you have to start again from scratch, consider switching to MO2 for your mod manager. It's intuitive once you get used to it. I hated it first time, then struggled with Vortex when I went back to that, so I bit the bullet and started fresh all over again with MO2. You don't have to follow the beginners guide at all, just use it as a guide and template for your own preferred mod list. I have hardly used any of the mods in that guide, but I have followed the principles of load order and not had any unsolvable issues at all.

But that also requires the willingness to read a discussion or help thread from the BEGINNING and not just asking a question that has already been answered 3 posts before. ?

This is why I download all mods manually and drop them into Vortex, then I have a copy to use again. If I delete a mod I do not like from Vortex, then I usually delete the copy as well to just keep a working set up in a spare drive.
