Mouth not opening during sex scenes

I thought I was going to quit and uninstalled all SexLab mods. But now I've tried to recreate my previous setup where the mouth did open during sex. Now however for some reason I can't figure out, it doesn't work, so either I'm missing something or I have the wrong load order.

I have SexLabFrameworkSE_v163_BETA9 and in my notes for that, is this:

 

* Lips do not move with moans. This is an issue in sslBaseVoice.MoveLips().

* sslBaseVoice.MoveLips() has been rewritten.

 

So it would appear there's some issues there.

There are two three things that come to mind.

 

First, any additional mods that fiddle with idle expressions, be it DAR-based, or some other mod. These can interfere with SL's facial expressions.

 

Second, there's a setting in the "newer" SL versions, under expressions, that provides additional controls for the mouth, which may have some value to you. (not sure if 9 has it or not. I'm still on 1.5.97 and I think SL beta 8 is the last one I can use.)

 

Third, in SL (and perhaps elsewhere) enabling both expressions and vocalizations can lead to problems. at least for the older version. I guess maybe that's not a thing for 9 based on @traison's post (clarity edit: since they appear to have acknowledged an issue and at least partially addressed it)

You have a point there. I managed to get the mouth to open after moving MFGFix before mfg oparco command, but it wouldn't stay open because of some expression being made. I think that outside of sex scenes it's my Conditional Expression mod taking over, and during animations it seems to be the movement of the mouth during moans that breaks it. So I would need to disable a few things. Thanks for the feedback!
