Skyrim crashes on new game or continue or load

Well I used to play Skyrim with some of these mods but ever since my latest save got corrupted and naturally my fix was to delete it and then start a whole new game but for some reason the game will crash whenever I do continue or load or new game I know Skyrim works when I made a clean Skyrim but for some reason using Nexus Mod Manager and I reinstalled all my mods and it still CTD on new game I assume there must be something missing or maybe it is one of the mods have anyone ever had this issue where Skyrim modded worked before then for some reason stopped working?

You're probably missing a master for one of your mods.  Or do you need SKSE and didn't re-install that with your other stuff?

 

I haven't used NMM in years, but if you look at the plugin list do any of them show up in red or a different color than the others to indicate a problem?

I have skse and all my plug ins are fine but the weird issue is that the game used to work back then a few months ago but ever since one of my saves got corrupted and I deleted the save and try to do a new game the game suddenly crashes

Use this oportunity to start over in a normal mod manager, many people me included shit on vortex, but both vortex and mod organizer 2 are way better than NMM.

Make sure you have the right mods for your version. LE/SE etc.

Yeah I might switch to mod organizer or vortex and give that a go I do have all the correct versions of the mods but I might have to uninstall Skyrim and make another clean Skyrim install and start all over

"MO 2" would be the best solution - but it takes a lot of time to get it under control

From my point of view, "Vortex" is a (reasonable) compromise - since it enables a functioning installation without penetrating deeper for days or weeks (depending on your own learning curve).

I took this step to "Vortex" 3 years ago - because even "nexus" no longer recommended its old "NMM".

However, I failed on "MO 2" - the few mental resources I still have are not enough to get anything done.
