Pyreliter Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Hello my fellow Lab Lovers, I want to ask for some simple guidance and direction in a decision I face. I have spent these past eleven years simply playing Skyrim (LE) without any ENB or 'better than Bethesda' texture packs. I am trying to introduce Skyrim HD - 2K Textures into my gaming, but I am unsure if further introductions of an ENB would help my future save file's longevity. If anyone who uses or has used the Nexus mod can please give their assistance in lessons learned, please help me reduce my slow FPS and absent article/texture rendering in the high stress/clutter areas such as Riften or Solitude. I understand that my dilemma is multi-faceted, so bear with me as I seek self-improvement in these more nuanced tweaks. As I read up in this forum and purview the various Youtube guides, I want to further lock on my game rendering options at the main login, as well as my GPU control interface. This also introduces my own contemplation of attempting the SSE/AE version(s), but I remain hesitant of the hours long process of CAO and mod conversions for my old favorites. As I continue my own searching, I will look gratefully forward to any all most current tips on where/how to improve my Skyrim experience.

ENB presets (what most people call an ENB) can put a lot of strain on your graphics card. Do you use ENBoost and the other stability tools such as Crash Fixes?
