So I had this issue last week with some of my mods animation behavior files not being compatible with SSE in FNIS and tried to find a solution. It really bothered me that the majority of the responses, that I saw while searching, were, " Go download a version that is compatible with SSE... FNIS is telling you its not compatible... Obviously you need to learn how to read (This last one may be exaggerated but you get the point)". Often the modfile that was downloaded was the one that was claimed to be compatible with SSE and essentially there was no really solutions. Just a lot of, figure it out cupcake comments, and that just isn't my style. Despite all the Negative Nancy's and Obvious Oswald's, I persisted in my hunt for an answer. Someone somewhere had to have a solution to my plight, and I ended up finding a potential solution. Get this download from Nexus - SSE Convenience Utility - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16961?tab=description Apparently there is a free behavior process updater that you can get from the creation kit or something its called HavokBehaviorPostProcess and can be found in your SKYRIM SE folder under tools after you have downloaded and installed the creation kit software from Bethesda. If you don't have it you should be able to download it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1946180/Skyrim_Special_Edition_Creation_Kit/ Alternatively, You might be able to update the behavior for FNIS using Cathedral Asset Optimizer - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23316 (Just ran across this tonight) Anyway back to my discovery. Once you have the havok program, you follow instructions for using the SSE convenience mod and it will update the behavior files you select. I was having issues with Isle of Mara's two and More nasty critters single Behavior.hkx not being compatible with SSE despite the claim that they were from the SSE compatible download option. I ran the program, ran FNIS without any errors, and No t-pose when I loaded into my game. Case Closed! I have been a member of this site since 2016 and cannot recall ever seeing anyone mention it. It is an animation file converter and anyone wishing to do that would be better off with CAO. Better still is to download the correct mod in the first place.

Once you have the havok program, you follow instructions for using the SSE convenience mod and it will update the behavior files you select. I was having issues with Isle of Mara's two and More nasty critters single Behavior.hkx not being compatible with SSE despite the claim that they were from the SSE compatible download option.
