Vistani Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 (edited) I've modded skyrim 10 times or so over the years and had success with many more than I'm running now but I am not great at this and theres still much I do not understand. I'm also new to MO and don't grasp its features completely. I wanted to keep it simple this time and just install proper nudity with physics, a vanilla armor replacer and some randomizer so everyone isn't the same. Along the way I decided to add sex and found ostim. Last time (AE came out so shelved skyrim till now) I got it mostly working with All Shapes BodyGen Randomizer and sexlab but tried to find a different approach this time. After I get these working I will also try to find the mod that made everyone pretty and figure out what I need for that so advice there would be nice too but thats a tomorrow problem Description of Crash Skyrim starts, New Game, Creation, Select Female (all seems fine), Select Stay Here on Unbound and it crashes Notes On Process Leading Here Decided fuck it and bought AE after mod support research My MO Skyrim exe shortcut is routed to SKSE Read Obody and Ostim guides Built Zeroed BS and added 1 preset to Obody json Tried 2 different SOS things. SOS AE 1.03 or something and then multi edition dll replacer, idk if any or all of them worked since neither fixed anything. Ran LOOT, didn't clean anything tho If I disable unbound/alt start it crashes shortly after 'one at a time, step forward' during execution The renamed entries are bodyslide output and RSV Patch. RSV patch is the file that the bottom of BNP's files in nexus. Not sure what told me to make the bodyslide output mod or if I should keep bodyslide setup that way or not I tried disabling all the Oname stuff and it still crashed same as before and this is all pretty bare minimum so it didn't really narrow anything down so I have no idea what the source of the problem is. Any obvious problems? Edited January 16, 2023 by Vistani
Just Don't Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Without a crash log is hard to say. But I see Mu Joint Fix in there and that mod has a known bug that causes a consistent crash on new games (I'm not sure if this has been fixed in a recent update, but I had to remove it from my game). For crash logging I recommend you to get these. Second link is a MO plugin, not a regular mod, so pay attention to install instructions. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/66743
Vistani Posted January 16, 2023 Author Posted January 16, 2023 Awesome, thanks. a crash log sounds like exactly what I need
