I then go to append my reference s4 studio mesh, I go to objects and whats supposed to be shown is "s4studio_mesh_1", "s4studio_mesh_2" and "s4studio_mesh_3"but it doesnt show any of these and now I cannot go any further with the tutorial.

"Meshers"...lol

inbf4, no, I am not a pro, there are dozens just here better than me.

1- for this kind of thing is easier to go to ts4 studio forum bc you use... ts4 studio!

2-this Sn1 1st pants green is a mesh, so you have 2 meshes so if you wanted to append... append what? there is already a s4studio mesh that probably is the imported mesh? I am not understanding very well your question.

3-By appending, you mean joining? It is not really necessary to join, but you must have the same number of meshes from the original ts4 part or else it won't work, you dig? Say your model have 2 meshes, you need to find a model from ts4 with 2 meshes, on the video the guy must have been using a pant with 3 meshes, that is the most common, ofc nothing impedes you of making a 3rd cut, it works. What you need to do is transfer the weights before deleting the mesh you won't use. Ofc after that ... Make the UV map, and make the LODS, Armature if needed, etc... But you won't need the original mesh for that, only to transfer weights, dig?

My tip from painful xp- Sometimes everything you do is correct but ts4 studio just doesn't fucking import! Bc you have to be careful of the Blender version and ts4 studio version, the usual version, I forgot the name) supports the one you are using, 2.79 the beta version (STAR) uses Blender 3.0, be careful, if you do everything on Blender 2.79 and on the root of the star version is 3.0 it just won't work no matter what you do, personal trauma... With STAR= blender 3.0 ONLY, if you need to go back bc of blender version, change the root exe on STAR. Don't forget.

Ok my dumb ass didnt have a legit installed blender lmao?. I had zip versions and didn't have a path set in s4studios and I notice the paths would always change. When loading a mesh from ts4 you need over a certain amount of mbytes something over 2mb depending on what you are exporting. If its clothes it should be over 2mbytes if it's under 2mbytes, it will not show in blender and either you don't have blender installed to a drive and if you do, then the paths are not set in s4studios to blender.exe

Im not an expert at this but this worked for me.

Dont do what I did, and use archived/zip blender versions stacked up on desktop

"The real problem was my blender files were not showing in blender from s4studios and i didnt have blender installed to a drive". No blender files mean no clothes or anything you want for mesh.

To get your files to show

1 - You need to choose one version of blender you want to work with and download the installer package blender file and install to a drive.

2 - After you installed blender, go to sims4studios/settings/ Blender Path, and set the path to where you installed blender and hit save.

3 -Now you can load up your mesh/blender files in blender and they should not show up blank

Done! you can move forward now??.
