If I want to update a mod on LL

LL noob here, so I just go to the download page, delete the old file and put the newer one, edit the thread and that's it? It will automatically show as a new download or do I have to do something else? Also can I add more files and change the download page for, say I want to turn my tanlines tattoo mod download page into a general tattoo mod download page to keep things simple, I can just edit everything and just start putting every new tattoo mod over there or I can't anymore and should do over? Is there a limit to images?

And sorry I put this here, Idk where should I go to ask about the forum...

You should be able to edit everything and add anything if you want. I believe there is a 20 image per post limit.
