An Issue with the Polyamorous trait

It's been a while since I played Sims4. A lot has changed with the base gameplay, so I'm asking if I'm doing anything wrong.

When I played the game last, I assigned the trait to my sims and they'd be cool with their partners getting it on with someone else etc.

Now, despite the trait assigned, my sims are getting mad and getting negative moods when they see their partners even flirting. And they have 'fear of spouse cheating'.

I think I have the latest ww installed. Am I doing anything wrong? I've used it before without any issues but the base game was a lot different back then.

From the descriptions for both the Polyamorous trait and the related WW settings, this should still work as you expect it to do. If your Sims received that trait back when it still was obtained from the rewards store, you may need to remove it (e.g. through MCCC, trait stuff should be in the CAS section) and then apply it again by clicking on your Sim > Wicked > Personalization > Wicked Attributes and selecting to give attributes to either your Sim or all Sims (brings up a Sim selection with mutiple categories).

 

Alternatively, you can also disable jealousy in the WW relationship settings (affects all Sims), give your Sims the Cuckold attribute (see above) or the Player trait (complete the Serial Romantic aspiration or bring up the console with Ctrl+Shift+C and enter traits.equip_trait  trait_Player).
