how to run sos with the current version of AE

im at my wits end i tried the schlongs of skyrim sos plus papyrus beta no dll and crash

i try the original even with hiding the schlongsofskyrim.dll and my papyrusutil.dll is outdated

i tried any combination of those or pretty much any version floating around here will ether cause an instant crash or for the game too not be able to find the papyrusutil.dll(despite me installing one that explicitly states there isn't one) and me using the SOS_dll_AE_1_6_640 version

 

yet no matter what i do the game ether crashes or throws errors that stop it from working

please tell me how to fix it its day 8 of trying to fix this and im close to throwing my pc from the third story window

Do you know why its crashing, or are you just assuming it must be SOS or an incompatible dll?

For current version of Skyrim AE you have to use the no DLL version. You don't need to do anything else with this version. Just install it, and uninstall anything else SOS.

If you're getting an error saying papyrusutil.dll is outdated then you need to fix that. It doesn't matter which or how many workaround for SOS you're using, the issue is PU. You need to get Papyrus Util for the executable/SKSE version you have. Same goes for any mod with a dll. After that try one of the known workarounds for SOS.
