Modder Templates and Resources for community translations

 

Hello-hello!

 

I made this support topic for community translations for the Sensual Studio mod. If you're interested making a translation for the mod, you can find all the resources needed to do so.
 

How to translate:

1. Download the English Language reference file from below (available formats: package, xml, stbl)
2. Open the package file in Sims4Studio (or your preferred alternative like the TS4 Translator or the DP STBL Editor)
3. Change the language of the String Table in the Locale droplist.
4. Edit & Translate the lines in the String Table.
5. Save your work.
6. Post your file on Loverslab under the Translations section.
   Don't forget to remind users that the translation package has to be in the same folder where the Sensual Studio mod is!

MAKING TRANSLATIONS MORE FUTURE PROOF

 

There's some additional thoughts I wrote on how you can make your translations more future proof against "blank lines", while it was written for the CE mod, the same technique can be applied here too.
