Sorry if the titles is in appropriate despite the censor, just really, REALLY pissed off.

 

Had a hacker steal one of my email accounts, then alter my Skype, as well as, and this is the word of it, for me, hijacking my Steam.

 

Now, I already got most of it back, got my email box cleaned up, SKype is waiting in a sort of quarantine to me to retrive it, but Steam, well, pardon this but fuck Vavle for not having a number to call.

 

Fortunately from whatI read of those who have used it, Valv'es account recovery is actually pretty damn excellent, which has given me a glimmer of hope.

 

I have like three virus scans going right now so, eh....

Luckily I got ahold of Yahoo cutomer support and got the email taken care of, though with Skype I had to make another Skype account to contact ustomer support to get the first account back ,the fuck.

i know that feeling got my steam acc. hacked but in a matter of 1h after found out i cant log in and writing a mail my account was suspended and after verification via a picture of my cd key from the Orange box (ALL HAIL PHYSICAL COPIES) i got my acc back in matter of 6-8 hours. Valve is really one of the best when it comes to Acc recovery i had more problems with Ebay even after verifying with my passport to get my account unlocked (3 days)

That is the best goddam news regard Steam support I have heard since I started looking.

 

I already submitted as much account info as I could give along with one of my games and the CC number I used to buy it.

yeah steam is pretty good about account recovery, I have been hacked once as well, and the fucking hacker tried to buy a bunch of shit and my bank was like a tf2 heavy and went "nope" and blocked everything, and then steam locked my account but I contacted them and they returned my account to me and removed all the hacker's bullshit purchases without me needing to pay anything back, but I don' keep my debit card on file with steam anymore for that reason, also now steam guard requires you to do a verify from your email or phone when you log in from a new computer and I use my phone because a hacker cant get my phone also helps to encrypt your password for emails and well, you need to encrypt all your passwords for everything, pretty fun encrypting it then trying to remember it later but if you write it down on paper and type it in a few times you will remember it better, and it aldo helps to change All your passwords every 6 months or so, even rotating them helps
