Dragonborn (DLC) trolls me

Recently I wanted to start playing Dragonborn already. Did all the MQ-stuff till I got attacked by the Miraak-dudes. Killed them, went to Windhelm, got on the ship.....so far so good.
And then....well...take a look at the attached picture. post-94759-0-01359100-1375868576_thumb.jpg

After that screen I see ravenrock but I can't move. Actually I am not even there. Neither is the ship. There are just two barrels standing in the ocean and that's it.

 

Since Dawnguard was a buggy mess for me I am not very surprised. But Dawnguard was playable with setstagecommands etc. Dragonborn isn't.

To me it looks like it is not installed to 100% (for example: In MCM - Sanguines Debauchery, the Dragonbornadd-on option is greyed out as if it wouldn't exist at all) but I don't know how to reinstall just the dlc, since I do not want to reinstall the whole game....not again ;_; (I installed almost every mod without a mod manager),

 

If anybody knows how to fix that...I woulnd't mind a little help x)

It would appear that something else was supposed to trigger or be set up before you got to the point in the game you are at.

My suggestion would be to re-install the DLC and make sure the load order puts it up with the rest of the .ESM files.   I would also make sue I was not doing anything out of sequence, although I am pretty sure this is not your problem.

  Now, it is possible however remote, that you have a bad or corrupted download.

 

The screen is self explanatory, you have a code error.   If you were familiar with scripting, I would suggest you access the script, search for the specific function and insert the correct parameter. BUT! you have to know what this will do with respect to the rest of the script function. Not for amateurs.

you guys are wrong! I had 256 mods and then have only Dragonborn DLC installed! Dragonborn DLC is with me in the loading sequence-bottom. I suspect the Dragonborn is not installed properly, there is a possibility to fix this error, you can check via steam can be playing and there are thus some minor errors.

ihr liegt beide falsch ! ich hatte schon 256 mods und habe danach erst DragonBorn DLC installiert ! DragonBorn DLC liegt bei mir in der ladereihenfolge ganz unten . ich vermute das DragonBorn nicht korrekt installiert wurde , es giebt eine möglichkeit diesen fehler zu beheben , über steam kann man sein spiel überprüfen lassen und es werden dadurch kleinere fehler behoben .

Oh man. That's Unofficial DragonBorn Patch. We also have USKP, UHFP and UDGP. Not telling ya what they mean.

I am German, and always use a translator, I find it so hard already enough to understand everything. therefore I can not do anything with shortcuts! sorry!

Dragonborn unofficial patch, I do not use something like this, I prefer to rely on myself, even at maximum provide official. all my mods I install manually always never a organizer or an installer .

Unofficial DragonBorn Patch , soetwas verwende ich nicht , ich verlasse mich lieber auf mich selbst , höchstens noch bei offiziellen stellen . auch alle meine mods installiere ich immer manuell niemals mit einem organizer oder einem installer .

Did you have mods installed before you purchased and downloaded the DragonBorn DLC? If you did that would most likely be your problem.

Of course. But that shouldn't be that problem. It would be....hard to reinstall everything and start a new game everytime a new dlc comes out.

 

It would appear that something else was supposed to trigger or be set up before you got to the point in the game you are at.

I think if i took a look in the scripts we'd have a nuclear apocalypse or something like that :D (And this is how Fallout came true...)

About reinstalling it...yeah I tried it but I didn't find the option for that. Guess I'll just have to deinstall everything dargonborn related and verify my game cache afterwards.....again!

But first I'll try the other sugesstions.

Ich habe die Option gleich als erstes versucht. Es wurden zwar zwei Files nicht gefundn und daher reinstalliert aber der Bug war immernoch da.

use unofficial dragon born patch it fixes some bugs in the dragon born DLC same with unofficial dawnguard,skyrim,and hearthfire  you can find it on skyrim nexus

I know this series but since it never really helped with dawnguard I totally forgot to think about it this time. Gonna check it out if it.

 

Do you have Atlas Map Markers (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14976/) installed? The Atlas World Encounters (WETriggerScript.pex) option is not compatible with DB. If you reinstall the mod without the world encounters option you will have no issues.

 

I had the same problem when I installed DB.

Uhm....no. Never had it installed. Never even knew about it till now.

The only other thing that comes to mind is that the esm and/or bsa for DB are corrupt. Deleting the esm and bsa from the data folder and then verifying the game cache will force a new download of those two files without wreaking havoc on the rest of your files.

Deleted Dragonborn bsa and esm + verified game cache afterwards----------------------------------------------------------no

Doing the same again + deleting Wetriggerscript and Wetriggersecondaryscript-----------------------------------------no (The Errormessage is gone....but the bug still occurs)

Nexus Mod Manager to change loadorder and such.

But most of my mods are installed without any manager.....I know that was a dumb idea to begin with but Skyrim was the first game I ever modded/ my first pc game at all.

And about Sanguines Debauchery. Yeah I know. I just do not have Sexlab installed yet so I went with the older version.
Could that be the reason Dragonborn isn't working?

I'll check it out tomorrow + installing sexlab etc.
It is almost 2 am in the morning where I live *yawns*
But let me just tell you, that I really appreciate your help :)
