She became a follower of mine apparently, after finishing all the quests with the Nightingales, only I do not have an option to dismiss her like I do with the other followers. I'm using Nether's Follower Framework. Any ideas how to get rid of her?

Probably has a package that tells her to follow you. Don't specifically know how to fix that, but I'd go for the tried and tested disable-enable trick to see if that does it.

Disable-enable what, the follower framework?

P.S. Uff, silly me. You mean her. :) Thanks, I tried it right away, not sure if it worked yet.

Nope. Still on my tail.

Console commands:

prid 58F1A
disable
enable

If that doesn't do it, there's EvaluatePackage and ResetAI, however I'm not sure what they do. Sounds relevant.

Look up the quests she is used in as a reference (probably all the later theives guild stuff?) and make sure they're all concluded with the getstage command. Quest stage info can be found on the UESP wiki.

I think certain mods can cause any NPC to follow you when something goes wrong in the mod.  I specifically mean ones where there is a "force greet" in the mod and for some reason the "greet" part doesn't trigger and they just follow without any way to lose them.

I've had this happen before and think it was a dialogue mod, can't remember which one.  In that case, I could only go back to a save from before the event as it seemed to be in the save file after the bug happens.

Maybe an alternative would be to use console commands to reset the character, similar to if a character has been dead for a while and you reset them.  I have not tried it, though, as I load a previous save file immediately when I see this problem.

I am not saying this is causing your problem, maybe or maybe not.  Just mentioning it as a possibility and the console reset as a possible solution.  I don't know.
