i downloaded all requirements and it still wont work on the fnis side and when fnis does work i get a t posing character and still a black screen  when sex with a giant  is initiated

The fade to black is most likely an SL setting, I recall it has that.

As for the t-posing (a-posing in this case but w/e), that's casued by missing animations. Since you barely provided any info, the only thing I can suggest is for you to post the FNIS output, regardless of whether you think it has an error in it or not.

Did you disable fade to black in SL yet? You responded to @traison regarding that suggestion, but you didn't' say whether you'd disabled fade-to-black in SL's MCM

Yep. Afaik, Flower Girls also has a fade-to-black setting, so the OP might want to disable that one too, just for good measure. (overkill? maybe, but whatever)

The unfortunate thing about the Program Files directories is that the user does not have permission to write to these directories by default. It is where Microsoft recommends people install all their apps, and I do agree with this idea. However, this all falls apart when the developers of said apps do not adhere to this recommendation (I do not either). The idea is that any app created files would be put into the users profile, inside the hidden AppData directory for instance. I'd say its still (10-15 years later) a rarity to find an application that correctly implements this. So that said, yes, most likely whats going on here is that FNIS can't write its behavior files, though I would have assumed it would have thrown an error (with code 5) in this case so I'm not 100% sure. My 2nd guess would be that OSEX is doing something. I'm not familiar with that mod group.

The workaround for the Program Files directory problem would be to run MO2 with elevated privileges (uac/run as administrator), and thus FNIS would be elevated as well. This has another side effect however in that the files that are created while MO2 is running elevated may be given admin-only permissions. This then leads to things being inaccessible if you were to run MO2 without uac elevation at a later date.

Edit: The real solution to the Program Files directory problem would be to relocate the SteamApps directory. Steam has tools for this in its UI these days so it should be a simple job. It may take a long time however, depending on where you move it and how much data it contains.

I don't see anything particularly "out off order" in the mod list you shared.

When fade-to-black is disabled, you *will see some setup operations ahead of an animation sequence. it assembles the actors into one spot (as a base reference), then places them in their starting positions, then the animation sequence begins. So, you will experience a short duration  "lockup" of the involved actors. It can take a few seconds, or it can take many seconds, depending on you current lag and other script loading.

If an actor(s) completely locks up during the animation, (rather than standing there for 10-20 sec while the sequence is assembled), that usually points to a problem with the animation or the animation registry.

To be clear, fade-to-black was supposed to ensure the player never sees the setup process. The problem is, that for whatever reason, sometimes the "un fade-to-black" step doesn't fire.  And it happens enough, and has happened enough over time, that the standard advise when people see the black screen referenced in a complaint about SL or Flower Girls (being black screened) is to disable that feature. I was first advised to disable it back in mid 2019. And it'd been a known issue at the time.

It's not a guarantor of success, but IFF there's a problem that is being hidden by the fade-to-black, you're never going to know if you can't see what's going on. The cost is watching the setup and twiddling your thumbs while it "clumsily" assembles the animation sequence.

As to where one installs the game... With all due respect, while I get that some player subset lives with permissions restrictions on their machines, and so might be subject to some "you can't do that here" rules, it's the exception, not the rule. I guess leets must live in a different universe than me. I've been using the default installation for three years without any permission issues at all, and I have ~520 active mods, ~another 30 or so idling disabled, and I routinely install and uninstall mods. Either I'm an uberleet (I'm not) or something else is going on.... Parrots and sheep come to mind for some odd reason.

Right click the shortcut of your mod manager, and click on Run as administrator, then run FNIS from there and see if it fixes your animation issues. Deal with the future problems I mentioned when/if they appear.

Do you have animation sequences for giants installed?

Have you registered them using SLAL?

Have you recently updated an animation pack?

Have you recently installed a new mod (aside from SL and your other animation stuff) and the game is no longer working as expected?

Did you build your SL setup progressively, checking to make sure that each element works as expected prior to adding the next "layer", or did you download and install everything in one go?

Have you made sure that each and every instance of "fade to black" is disabled throughout your MCMs (just for debugging, you can reenable with checks slowly after)

edit: also, how are you initiating this animation sequence?  (ex: Hentai creatures, a "forcing" spell, Defeat, etc) . The problem *could be there.

BTW: while scratching my head, I went back up to see which ver of skyrim you were running and noticed this in your FNIS post

So.... Which version are you running? (just so we have some basics)

(and just ftr, that "??.??.??" is a problem in itself)
