Crashing issue + Buffout crash report interpreted

Hi everyone,

Been playing around with some fallout mods and came to an issue. Whenever I attempt to add any more mods my game instantly crashes when trying to load my save. (All mods are weapons or clothing nothing major or quest breaking). I am using vortex and currently have Active: 204 Light: 235. I know the limit is 255 and 4096. The issue I am having is whenever I add a new mod I crash however if I was to trade a mod out and replace it with a new one 9/10 times it works fine. I want to add more mods but not sure why I am crashing. I have attached my most recent buffout crash log and noted the 2 mods I have added tonight. I was able to play perfectly fine for 6 hours yesterday without crashing but now cannot add anymore mods no matter the size without instantly crashing. Any expertise is appreciated.

Thanks :)

There is also a BA2 limit which can vary from load order to load order, so you may be hitting that.  In fact, with over 400 mods, there's a good chance that that is your problem, especially if you can trade mods but not install new.

The only potential workaround is to get a program that will extract your BA2s to loose files, and do that for some really small mods.  The drawback is that BA2 files are more efficient for the game, and having too many loose files may cause other issues.

You could try to google "Fallout 4 BA2 limit" to find out more, but I'm not sure if there's any other good way around it.

Wild Speculation:
Are you using a freckles mod?  This looks like it could be a graphics crash.

I found the probleme bug no how resolve it. it male take over.

You probably need to remove it and start a new game but you could always try opening all your mods with xEdit and see which records MTO is changing and what the conflicts are with your other mods.  Moving the plugin to a higher priority could help but then it would overwrite other things.  Check the Description and Support thread for MTO.  A few folks reporting crashing.  You would have to dig into your mods and maybe even learn how to make your own patch.

Try scanning your crash log and then check the scanned log for tips.
