C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3 And Fallout New Vegas C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas Does Anybody Know If FONV Will Work/Run Correctly Has Anyone Tryed This Or Tested It Before ? If The Fallout New Vegas Folder Is Moved From The SteamApps Common Folder Into The Bethesda Folder ? So Your Bethesda Softworks Folder Will Look Something Like This ! C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3 C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout New Vegas I Hate Steam ! Link to comment
gregathit Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 Unless you reinstall steam you can't just "move" a game\folder and expect it to work. As a general rule of thumb you should NOT install steam into your program files directory. Yes it is the default (why God only knows) but you can pick C:\steam or another drive or C:\Games\Steam and it will work. You aren't gaining anything moving it from steamapps to bethesda as you are still in program files. I would suggest moving your steam apps folder out of the program files directory then uninstall steam and reinstall it to somewhere else.
