Surdan Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Hey y'all. I'm struggling with something that I think is probably basic info and I'm just missing a step somewhere along the way. Can someone offer help? Let's assume I know absolutely nothing about modding other than being a dumb end user. With that said, let's begin with what I'm attempting: Skyrim SSE + Bodyslide + CBBE + Fertility Mode Many CBBE mods batch build just fine, but some aren't. I'm trying to manually fix mods that, while claiming to have CBBE body support aren't responding at all to batch building, RaceMenu changes or Fertility Mode changes. Basically, various mods aren't responding to Bodyslide edits at all and I'm trying to troubleshoot where I'm going wrong to correct this problem. My initial thought was to follow this chain: 1. Load CBBE body as reference in outfit studio 2: Load outfit.nif 3. Copy all weights from reference to outfit 4. Confirm all 5. Save project as [filename] 6. Export as NIF file, overwriting outfit_0 and outfit_1.nif files 7. Batch build in Bodyslide But for whatever reason, this isn't working. What am I doing incorrectly here? What additional steps or corrections are needed?
KoolHndLuke Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) What MM are you using? I ask because I think I've read before that you have to run BS/OS through MO or something for shit to work. Just guessing really and I could be wrong. Edit: Yeah, just read that your changes have to go into the MO overwrite folder and NOT the game folder. So I'm guessing you need to change file paths for those mod outfits in BS if using MO. Edited November 5, 2022 by KoolHndLuke
Surdan Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 Good question, I'm using Mod Organizer 2. Let me try messing around with Overwrite and see if anything changes...
