test1.7z This looks like it's working. In GFD studio, I added the body texture and a dummy shadow map in the texture section. Then replaced the nudebod material with a body material from one of my mods, then renamed the textures in that material to match the newly added textures.

Weird, because I remember giving that a try and it not working - but I must have done something wrong. Definitely need to work on this one more. The armature is scrunching up her left foot for some reason (it's only in object mode - not in edit mode). And it doesn't seem to be applying the texture properly in GFD Studio. Because she had a belly button that's not showing, so I wonder if it's flipped the texture but it's not letting me export a version without the coat to see. And when I tried flipping the texture it was just crashing GFD Studio.

So I guess, the list to fix is armature and mesh (left foot, right sandal), how the texture is being applied, the skin color +  added details. Did you notice anything that could be causing these issues when you were looking through the files?

Also, thank you sincerely for the assistance.

We are very happy that we were able to successfully port Persona 5 Royal Mode to PS4. We are currently working on replacing the main character, Joker, with Kasumi, but there is a problem with the sound. We are researching a solution because the sound extensions on PC and PS4 are different. As a bonus, I'm playing Senran Kagura on PS4, and although it runs without errors, it looks like my entire body is covered in paint. This is a problem that appeared in the previous Resident Evil re3, but it is currently difficult to solve because the structure is different from re3. And after converting the image to gnf extension for PS4, I am trying various PS4 games. Unlike PC, PS4 modding is very difficult.

Yooo that's awesome, would you be able to send an aemulus file?

It was made according to the Korean title for PS4. To create a file for Nintendo Switch, you must create it by comparing the original files for Nintendo one by one. Currently I don't have a Nintendo Switch so I can't test it. In the past, we have also successfully created mods for the Switch.

i dont know what's going on with the foot. but when i import the model into blender, it shows that the body has no uv map so the texture wont work on it. This usually happens if you didn't rename the uvmap of the new model to match the name of the uvmap of the original model.

Where is switch mod?Can you share it?thanks!

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'd still like to have it though, and I can try to get it to run on switch by messing around with the files. And besides, even if it is for ps4 I still want it.

This is a useful tool I used. In addition to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC, you can view information about the image in various ways, and you can compare it with the original using the mode posted here and replace it. Download the mod for PC here and create it.

It's great, the CPK of this game can load mods with the PS4 AFR plugin, I hope you can share it, I am also making various PS4 games and have made great progress.

So, I managed to fix the sandal and the left foot. Just for the life of me cannot get the body textures applied. I swear I'm following what you said of replacing the material with one from another mod, uploading the textures and matching their names to the ones being called in the material, but I just get a black body each time.

I did also see what you were saying about the UV map, which is really weird. At least when I checked, the map mesh was unwrapped but no image was under it in blender. But when I apply the image in the materials section of blender it applies correctly.

Still learning about weighting vertexes --  I figured some people might find this model useful.

It's not perfect, but I did figure out how to find some of the right bones.  Looking into how people fix clipping around the thigh/pelvis for some of the idle poses (that don't involve cutting holes out of the mesh).   Someone find me a Morgana head for better pasties.

I should acknowledge the thread for the base body model.  Everything else is vanilla from the game.

Thats sad, these pasties are ruining visually, hope they consider removing them

How hard would it be to change Kasumi's uniform to expose her chest and make her have a miniskirt with no panties? Basically take the first image and change her chest area to look something like the middle girl in the second image (Jiangshi/magenta clothing girl). I don't have any experience with 3D modelling or Blender so I'm not sure what I'd have to do. Alternatively, I wouldn't be opposed to discussing commissions for the whole P5R girls set.

Oh that's how that feels.   The pasties were just an experiment to see if I could learn to rig properly.  You can remove them from the model easily.

Anyway, I'm having a blast learning how to use blender.  It's probably worth the time to do small things.  (Pull out GMDs, mash them up in blender, stick them back into the game in memory suboptimal ways.)

So far it's not that hard to cut up existing models, warp them to some of the body models (save your first 10 hours and learn to use the modifiers and "apply" instead of editing meshes directly).   There's a Kasumi body in this thread / not hard to warp the existing skirt and add that back on.  The shirt's the hard part for me.

I have no leads on how to really work with fabrics and so on yet.  Seems like dropping a ghost sheet on a nude model would be a good next challenge.

Out of curiosity, is there any sort of guide or video you're following to learn this stuff? I've got a couple models from the spin-offs I'd like to attach to the P5R ones but I am not super sure where to start or how to go about it.

Mostly it's trial and error learning to use blender and being, uh motivated.

There are guides in this thread (at the top) about how to work with the files (extract, GDS viewing, mashing it into the game).  Entry level blender milestones for me have been learning to work in the viewport, importing and deconstructing GDS models (practice exporting to see what you mess up), moving stuff around in object mode, learning to edit meshes.  I'm just starting to mess with modifiers like shrinkwrap (which I suspect will do nearly everything I want).  I've done stupid things like lost bones, disconnected vertices.  Mostly the weight painting has been accidentally okay.  I know that I'm missing a lot like chunking models and getting the textures right, but so far things load into the game.

For example, today I'm messing around with knife/bisect to split this shirt open, delete some edges, and rotations/move to roughly move the shirt where I want and using shrinkwrap to project it back onto the body model. Started figuring out how to make meshes more complicated for smoother effects.Screenshot2023-10-17104315.png.f0a79b7f96aa0a5d44dafd7e56e43739.png

I know you're asking this because you wanna do it yourself, but I'm gonna say that you'd just have to figure it out yourself. Also I'm gonna try to do it now, thanks for the idea.

Yeah, I know I have to probably do it myself, it's just a little frustrating since Blender is a bit annoying to learn and I have to sit on P5R for even longer. Going to try and see if I can figure this out by the end of the week, should give me a lot more motivation if I do.

Got lost for a few days studying how to use hooks and laplacian modifiers to move things around better.
https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/comments/tt5xdi/laplacian_deform_modifier_and_hooks/?rdt=36140 was particularly useful.

Didn't really figure out how to render lights properly, but here's a demonstration of slightly better clothing behavior that you can get with the above.  I'm missing some steps (but not many...) to be able to actually make animations appear in game.

Like I think I can strip the keyframe/poses from the existing game animations and "modify" them.

Mannnn if you can get this done right and properly you would be an absolute legend hoping for your success ?

There's 5 collections in the .blend.

1 - Nude Sumire (by me) (textures fucked up for some reason)

2 - Nude Kasumi (by me)

3 - Nude Kasumi (by Jmedia) (edited to fit the clothes)

4 - Nude Sumire (by Jmedia)

5 - Clothes (edited to be lewd)

You guys can do what you want with it. It's not perfect, and I don't wanna deal with getting it back into the game, so... yeah. This was hobbled together in like 2 hours after remembering this post existed.

Hey I was wondering if anyone showed any interest in making mods for persona 5 tactica on steam before I buy it on switch instead.  We won’t know if the game is moddable until it comes out but if people want to try and make mods for it, I’d like to know before I buy it.
